I actually lol'd.

I gave up waiting for a new 3D Metroid.

Nice graphic, but won't Splatoon be out before E3?

Nintendo already went on record saying they won't talk about NX publicly until next year, and knowing them, they won't show it off until E3 2017.

They only mentioned it at that conference so people wouldn't speculate that they were going mobile only.

I predict...

NX handheld - 2017
NX console - 2018

It'd be nice if they had an Advance Wars revival.

As boring as this may be I don't think we'll get many game announcements from Nintendo this year especially when it comes to Wii U titles. Instead I think we'll start hearing more about the foundations for the NX. We obviously won't see anything specifically related to the new machine but if they are planning to go for digital distribution only on their next machine ( I think they will ) then they need to sort out their online infrastructure. Basically I think Nintendos biggest E3 announcement will be the introduction of a proper unified account system for their platforms. That'll mean some purchases shared across the 3DS and Wii U, a version of the E Shop you can access on your PC and all the other things you take for granted on other platforms.

I think there is a high chance of 4 making its way to the Wii U.

This is probably the first Nintendo e3 I'm not really getting excited for.

Unless they bring out a mega bombshell, even though it wouldn't be ready until 2016-17. A brand new 3D Mario, 3D Metroid etc.

Even animal crossing has sailed for me, unless they did something totally radical to the formula which is pretty much getting very stale for me. Put in SNES games in and play them in game would even do it for me!

And I'm hoping they will do a cross ID account, which even negates the need to transfer content into a brand new machine and you can download your games on any machine, plus cross buy titles. I don't see a problem with Sony and MS regarding their downloaded games being pirated (unless some one pointed that there is a problem.) so Nintendo don't have the pirate problem as an excuse.

They unveiled Super Mario 3D World in the same year it was released, but I guess Zelda was meant to to be their big un this Christmas.

Still, Retro or Next Level Games could both have something in the pipeline.

A Koizumi-helmed side-scrolling Metroid for 3DS
More Smash DLC
More Mario Kart DLC
More Amiibo, including cards for figures that are hard to obtain
Everyone to be disappointed when Star Fox turns out to be a graphically simple episodic game featuring Project Guard and another not-yet-seen minigame
Paper Mario Wii U (most rapturous reception of the whole thing, as it turns out it's a proper turn-based RPG in the Thousand-Year Door style)
Project Giant Robot to be launched as an eShop game - "after this presentation"
Last thing shown is a short teaser for a new 3D Mario due to launch in late 2016
And more info on a bunch of stuff we already know about (Fire Emblem IF, Project Zero, Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer)
Everyone goes away wondering where Animal Crossing Wii U is

I keep thinking that. I wonder if they've sold enough and got the manufacturing capability to lower the price?

I'm steeling myself for this. We've seen and heard so little about the game. I'm struggling to see how Nintendo will show something that causes a "Wow!" effect.
