I predict disappointment.

Steam OS, Steam boxes, Steam controller, VR and probably something to do with that DOTA gooseberry fool.

Valve will decide that, seeing as selling other people's games makes so much more money than making your own, they won't bother showing anything but will instead stand on stage whilst smoking cigars lit with hundred dollar bills and blow the smoke in the face of Half-Life fans.

Gabe walks on stage and asks who wants HL3, he pulls up the most rabid fan onto the stage, unclips his belt and folds it over 9 times (it's a big belt). He then delivers a brutal whipping to the fan and ends with just a silent cold stare in the audience.

Nintendo will do the same with amiibos except the fan will thank them afterwards.
