Dala knows the score. 8-)

I found Ravenholm pretty tense, myself. Mostly because of those god damn super fast head crab things! Utter bastards.

Nova Prospekt was awesome, one of the best bits in the game.

Inside the prison was, I just didn't like going in the front with the antlions and those annoying as strawberry float turrets pinning you down.

Which part of HL2 is it where you on that metal structure by or out in the ocean, and when you reach the end a chopper appears?

Loved that bit.

Do you mean the bridge at the end of Highway 17?

Dunno. Maybe. I don't remember it too clearly and it's been some three and a bit years since I played HL2.

Edit: Just YouTubed and yeah, except it's not a chopper.

I like Water Hazard and Ravenholm. In fact I can't think of a chapter I don't like in the game, its pretty much pure awesome from start to finish.

It's pure awesome, true, but not exactly from start to finish. Mainly because there are some awful pacing issues in places, especially with the vehicle sections.

Amazing game, awful pacing.

Yeah I'd pretty much agree with that, though I wouldn't necessarily say awful pacing, just that the pacing lets it down at points.

You don't say.

Can we get a ban on this chucklefuck? At least Hugo obeys the laws of averages and occasionally strikes gold with one of his rants; I can't remember this guy ever making a post that actually made sense.

I think this is a bit hostile. I don't agree with his point on Half-Life 2 but if we're banning anybody I think we should be banning the antagonistic types rather than the people who make obscure posts. He may be quite a bit off the money here but Suffocate Peon's stream of consciousness type description of games is fine by me.

Not a huge fan of Ravenholm. I stopped playing at that point for a couple of months. I thought the game gathered pace towards the end personally.

It's not a "stream of consciousness". There's no consciousness there. It reads like a bloody bot set up to post long strings of random words.

How'd you get Steam to look like that?

I can only change the colour scheme on mine.
