I think the 360 is great and it'll probably always be under my TV (unless/until it breaks) but in hindsight, it could have probably just as easily been a PS3. All the best games of the generation just gone were multiplatform - certainly my favourite 360 memories generally come from games also available on Sony's machine. Other than Crackdown and Fable 2 I can't think of any exceptions.

Great generation for gaming though.

^^Halo, Gears & PGR3 were pretty special in their day. And the controller alone was worth going with the 360 over PS3 imo.

Mine broke a couple of years ago and I didn't bother replacing it, but it's probably the best console I've owned, although the GC remains my favourite.
