Just going to rehash my opinions expressed elsewhere:

GTA Meh City

The joy with GTA was always the fun you created for yourself, this ever increasing focus on story and drama and very choreographed events and gameplay beats is just the complete antithesis to what made the series fun for me

Now that free wheeling systems driven fun may still be in there, but they seem to go out of their way to make it harder and harder to get at with each installment.

Will say it looks very impressive in places, albeit in a very staid and uncanny valley way.

Will need to see a lot more before I'd say I'm interested in it or not.

With it coming in 2025, it'll be interesting to see if the eventual graphics change much, so often we see a downgrade, but to be honest with it launching in 2025, the PS6 and Xbox Whatever might only be a couple more years away.

Agreed! One of the reasons I found online to be better than singleplayer GTAV was because it felt like more of an open sandbox to just mess around in (with friends or alone). You do have to play it the "right" way though (which is - not the way rockstar seemingly want you to play it, grinding out awful missions and the like).

As for this trailer, it is very pretty and not very informative! As always, gameplay trailers are king.

Protagonist looks very cool.

Looks a lot better than I was expecting. All the social media overlays scare me though.

How come they dropped this so early, is it off the back of that kid posting stuff online?
