GTA 6' Will Be This Generation's Only Rockstar Game, Says Insider

It's a shame that the official reveal was kinda spoiled due to the leak. I wonder how someone was able to get a copy of it; presumably someone inside Rockstar obtained the final edit and sold it on?

Every GTA has very flashy first trailers then it downgrades the closer to release.

There's definitely stuff there that wasn't a true representation of the released game, but I don't think the game itself was an obvious downgrade.

I was curious to see that actually but couldn't be arsed to look for it.

After 10 years of GTA V I would say that there isn't much in that trailer that you didn't experience in the game.

Even the drawing distance and the amount of crowds in the streets is very accurate to in-game.

I do think however that there is much more CGI in the VI trailer over the V

Looking at the trailer again, I don't think this coming to the Switch 2 will even be on Rockstars radar, I mean they never ported GTA V which could have easily run considering it came back out on the PS3 and 360.

Just watched it again on the big screen, pausing to look at every scene. Looks incredible and I can't wait. I think some people will be surprised when the final game really does look this good.

You've got to remember that genuine current gen games are few and far between because of the constant cross-gen shenanigans. This is truly a game made for the current gen and I think it will really show just what we've been missing. Honestly, I thought it was incredible what Rockstar got out of the old systems for Red Dead Redemption 2 so I'm not surprised that this looks unbelievably good.

Haven't read this thread as want to avoid spoilers. It's kind of annoying and a bit pointless leaking so close to official trailer reveal not a massive GTA fan but it's a big deal and it would have been nice if everyone experienced together.

Didn't know there was a leak (so would have avoided certain places). Guardian online without needing to click on the article gave both an image and one fairly significant spoiler in the headline of 'gta trailer: fast cars, flamingos and a female lead revealed in first look'

Confirming there will be fast cars

Oh I'm sure there will be based on all those "follow" social media accounts in the trailer.

I'm wondering if that will work like GTA IV's internet or if it'll be more like a Dark Souls style online feature. Where you can share you own clips on an in-game social platform and follow other players. Or just ignore it completely if that does nothing for you.

The official trailer's already out. They just said sod it as soon as the leak happened.

But yeah, would have been great had we all been waiting on that premiere countdown and watching together.

Now if the same person could leak the full game today so rockstar put it on sale today, that would be great.

PS5 Pro as I suspect.

I'm sure they have the kit by now and release on the PS5 and XSX first.

Like they did it with PS3, PS4 then PS5.
