Tried to knock out a NeoGeo game in the last half hour but it was in vain sadly. Not as quick points as I was expecting. Oh well.

Pretty gutted, I should have guessed the cutoff would be markedly higher this week, going for the individual bonus has really screwed the team unfortunately.

I think Minecraft breaking at the most inappropriate moment is more responsible personally. I was banking on that to get us out of any unforseen scrapes!

Yup, normally I would have just done the same achievements on the Windows 10 version instead but my laptop broke last week and I haven't bothered to fix it.

This is double the team score - not individual scores. If the team ended with 5,000GS, you need to double that (10,000GS) to earn a shiny bonus.

Glad we haven't got to do that though.

Gutted for you guys . It does sound like you had a bit of a perfect storm of misfortunes. So many bonuses as well... not meaning to make it any worse... as for us, that’s all of our bonuses used up and as Manwell says this migh be our last week and if it is we’ve all had a bloody good run and we’ll give it everything we’ve got this week (which admittedly isn’t much) and see if we’re still in the mix come the start of next week. I hope the demise of team GrCade doesn’t mean that this thread will dry up, it’s you guys who keep me going when I feel i’ve Played one too many gooseberry fool games

Yeah madness really. I’m sure had we known the fail safe wasn’t working it would of been a cruise. Plus I been off Ill all week
And went back today....had I been at home could of got us out of that in about 10 minutes.

But that said the bonus this week is bull gooseberry fool, and we’ve got holidays and I’m moving house in two weeks so it’d of been difficult to go much further now it’s over 9k

I plan to see how far I can go in Individual, quite tempted to go for a weekly winner just for the hell of it too. Will certainly keep posting as long as I'm still there, although obviously the team bants will likely cease.

Annoyingly it's took me like 20 minutes this morning to get the rest of those Neo Geo achievements.

That’s our lot for this week, just inched past 9k. This total would have got us eliminated last week and is a few points less than you guys managed last week but i’m harbouring some hope that we’re not the only team who’s exhausted all their bonuses and is just running on fumes. Do you guys think we have a chance?

4 of the 8 teams in the elimination places have no bonuses left but the other 4 are armed to the teeth
