World Cup has ended gaming for me as it normally does....actually rather grateful for the all mighty cock up the day before it started in retrospect! I'll be gone next week unless Virgin show unprecedented levels of efficiency setting my new house up

That's a shame, although totally understandable. For me the rather shitty way we got knocked out has given me more enthusiasm to do well in individual, normally I wouldn't be bothered. Although the World Cup has slowed my progress too.

Ha it's had the opposite affect on me although if I get setup with plenty of time I might try and hang in for bit longer.... Plus the regularity of the WC games is reducing now.

What's pissed me off is how low the team bar was this week? Why did it go so mad when we get knocked out

Ha, yeah that is pretty annoying. I guess as less teams get knocked out the bar might drop a bit before it starts to skyrocket at the end. I think next time we need to worry less about hoarding our bonuses, even if we're a little borderline it's always worth erring on the side of caution.

Used my first bonus this week to carry me over the line. Manny... well, see title.

Bonuses... I remember those ! Happy that we’ve all managed to make it through once again, it really does look like you guys just lost out before it got a bit easier as bonuses dried up and the scoring plateaued although finding 9000 points per week is still a massive time sink. We’ll go again this week but without our regular Sunday scoreathon and no more bonuses it might be beyond us.

You guys are doing amazing! Can't give up now. I am a bit gutted that we got knocked out when we did, although at least it meant we didn't get burned out. One advantage of playing this year has been that I'm about to crack the top 500 on TA for the first time.

Thanks dude! My scoring has also gone stratospheric, i’m at like 13,000 for the month. When I get a moment I might check out my total since the start of this year’s competition. It must be well over 50,000

Trying to beat the one achievement with 0 this week !

That said I'll get through this week with two more shiny new bonus's to use next week, I could quite conceivably just mine craft the rest and pick up where I left off as my connection date is in time to start the week. I can't be bothered spending anymore money on shite games but may as well give staying in a go with what I already have.....although I am away Friday-Monday that week.

Genuinely thought you'd given up the ghost, good to see you back. I guess getting all those solo bonuses turned out to be worth it after all, it's kept you alive through two weeks without internet!

3 Weeks after this week, still floating about

Jesus, some hardcore scoring required today to get me back into safe territory. Still looking like it's gonna be a record cutoff, so I might throw a few more on just to be safe.
