GameTrailers TV filmed a special E3 episode full of news and some other goodies that will be ready to view come May 28 at 11:00pm EST.

We do, however, know a bit about what to expect from the show and here’s just some of it:

* Tricia Helfer and Rose McGowan are cohosts.

* An Uncharted 2 spokesman talks multiplayer and confirms that the beta will go live on the first day of E3.

* Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time features time travel and Ratchet will have hover boots, allowing him to move around in new ways.

* The president of Infinity Ward stops by to talk about Modern Warfare 2 and introduce the new trailer.

* More details for Mass Effect 2 will drop.

* A “big” Madden NFL announcement is expected.

* Bethesda will be revealing a new game.

* Batman: Arkham Asylum, Alien Vs. Predator, Dante’s Inferno, Lost Planet 2, and Need for Speed: Shift will also be featured.

Massive show, apparently.

What are the odds on the Bethesda game being an Elder Scrolls title?

Morrowind was, what, released in 2001 for the PC? So we should, hopefully, be due a few concrete details on ES V soon. Didn't someone say it might be out in 2010 and set in Skyrim?

Apart from Fallout, I'm not sure what else Bethesda do, mind...

Nice mate, I was enjoying a meatball sandwich as I read that. I don't have the will to finish it now :x

Buff, I don't think this sort of thing spoils E3 at all. Most of the big annoucements will be genuine surprises to most of us I think.

I strawberry floating hate announcements for announcements. This gooseberry fool really needs to stop. It's completely out of control, lately.

At this rate, the only company capable of really surprising us will be Nintendo. Most other companies seem incapable of keeping things quiet until the actual announcement/unveiling ceremony.

Maybe the reason everyone's getting in early with their announcements and countdowns is because they know there's a whole load of BIG stuff coming at the conferences, and they want to get their moment in the spotlight before the 'megatons' drop.

I mean, let's face it.. if the motion sensing cameras, a new Mario game, MGS5 etc. etc. etc. all end up popping up then.. how much excitement is a first look at Just Cause 2 and some new Burnout Paradise DLC going to generate? Whereas now, in the buildup, we're soaking up the dripfeed like a particularly dry sponge..

THIS.

It's beyond a joke, just plain annoying and embarrassing.
