When the family was at the terminal to go to Canada, we looked over to the cue beside us, and who was standing there than none other than Mr Ally McCoist himself. My Dad then went over and asked him to sign a biograpghy of a completely different footballer he was reading about.

When we got to the other side, we saw him leave the plane and climb into a limo.

Bastard.

When I was twelve I got on the same plane to the Canary Islands with the guy who got famously burnt in the Falklands war. I traded Pokemon with his kid.

I also would have said Sharpe over Boromir.

Denster: Hi Boromir!
Sean: What evil has Sauron set upon me! Some Troll half breed?
Denster: No it's me, Denster!

I saw Samuel L Jackson on the other side of the street from me when I was in New York once. Poor guy was totally surrounded by people. Playing it cool, I didn't really look over. I walked on a bit and had another look and did a mental :fp: . I hadn't noticed I was walking passed Madam Tussauds Manhatten and big Sam was actually just a waxwork.

I was once behind Tommy from trainspotting in the Fopp on Byres Road in Glasgow. It was a strange one as we both had the same puzzled "I know him from somewhere" expressions on our faces. It was only once I had paid and left that I twigged where I knew him from. It makes me wonder though, who on earth did he think I was? Or if I had met him before I must of been drunk and therefore I would have insulted him.
