I joined Fitness first on a 3 month contract and assumed that I would be only for 3 months I wasn't told otherwise that it was a rolling contract or anything and at the time I explained that I was at university and only wanted to join for 3 months. So to my suprise today I have a direct debit for an extra month for fitness first which I wasn't expecting so I phoned them up and was told that it was a rolling contract and should consult my copy of the contract I was signed which I was not given.

On top of this I was told the weights section would be rennovated during the next month or two which it never was.

Where do I stand?

Tell them, in writing, to go strawberry float themselves. Then cancel the direct debit.

You can get your bank to do a reversal on the direct debit too if it was illegal. Just give them a ring and explain you never agreed to it.

Well I did sign something which may have said that it was a rolling contract but no copy was given to me.

I actually work for FF so I can help you out ;)

If you signed up for a 3 month contract then it will still continue even after the 3 months, now that the 3 months has expired you only need to give them 4 weeks notice that you wish to cancel as you are out of contract

PM me if you need anymore advice
