Yeah, attempt 41 for me.

29 is so so early Aaron.

I basically felt constant progression with each run, bar a gap between my defeat of Elysium Champions (with the healing sword upgrade!) and then the next (maybe 10 to 15 runs). Now I'm not dying much but I am still finding it fun with enough difficulty to keep me entertained with the fiery heat skulls.

I'm on run 53 now and I can get to Hades pretty reliably but his second form spanks me everytime. Can barely get a hit in.

Hoping to clear it before run 60, I'd be happy with that as I happily admit I had no idea what I was doing for the first 15 or so runs.

Strangely, its his first form i struggle with more now. In second form he doesn't go invisible and he stands still more. Try to use your dash to destroy the green pools and then hide behind the pillar when he lasers. He leaves himself open a good deal just after the laser and when he lifts the green pools from hell!

I LOVE having this on Switch, but I can't help but feel out like I'm missing Achievements on the Xbox. I'd have liked to get some achievements on this because this is the kind of game I'll 100%, still I can play it in the bath and that's a bigger bonus.

Update Alert: this got an iOS release this week which to me at least seems like the perfect platform for a title based on 10-15 minute runs. It’s certainly made my commutes a lot more entertaining.

Top-down static camera titles work really well with touchscreen controls.

The game is also ‘free’ with a Netflix sub so if you have that it costs you nothing to try it out. Full cloud save sync between iPhone and iPad too.
