I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the new music will be a harder challenge than making the game. The game can grow on you but if the music doesn't have the same instant impact it may spoil things and never recover.

I swear anytime I see that Garth has posted here it means there's another crumb of Halo 4 news  Hard to tell what's going on in that monitor shot but I can see what looks to be the Assault Rifle there? Anyway, can't wait for Monday for the first concrete gameplay details and stuff to be released. (seems like Microsoft showed off one or two other exclusives at their show as well)

Looks like Halo reach on the tv, same assault rifle and armour ability in the bottom left corner...

Tru dat.

Frankie says:
Basically all the music you hear from now on will be from the game. Caveated that it's still early mix and even content.

Analysis on my blog - http://www.littleenglishhaloblog.com/20 ... tries.html

Most interesting is that you can see the helmet where it meets the bottom of Chief's visor. Amazing attention to detail.

Drizzt and I were just discussing that, very Metroid Prime - should add to the immersion nicely.

If anything being dark/black would reduce the impact of screen burn?

Some guy's uploaded the audio from the ViDoc with the voices dubbed out. It's not top quality, but still pretty cool. Definitely very promising for the music in Halo4.
