Yeah, I think that's a good way for Halo to go. It would help bring back that feeling of scale the first game had, and could play well to Halo's combat sandbox strengths. I like that they're taking more inspiration from the older games with the art style too.

If Gears 5 is their big game for 2019 and this comes out in 2020, maybe it's cross-gen.

I reckon it’ll play a lot like Halo 5’s Warzone mode, the obvious highlight of that game. They’ll shoehorn a plot into it somehow, like they did in the first Titanfall.

I have to admit, I fanboyed HARD when the camera zoomed out to show the Chiefs Helmet, then the music from 3... got me right in the feels. :fp:

My reaction (and this is Geoff Keighley's fault as much as anyone) was 'wow, this looks really interesting - oh, it's Halo'.
