How are playing on a US server? All games are dedicated, if you lose its nothing to do with connection. I have noticed a smidge of lag lately though but seems it's others upload speed rather than server end cos it's specific to a player, not the map or anyone else.

Focused means you play people at your own level, not server selection. Again, I think your nat is moderate or something, you seem to have lots of problems online.

Link to another forum... Hmm. I'm just saying I haven't seen a lot of lag in my games...seriously, I'm not having this argument again. :roll:

Edit: I agree it should let you pick a continent like TF though, he'll maybe focused does get you to a nearer server cos most were European since I've started using it.

We should play together Hime to try and get on more! :wub:

Link to another forum... and? It's an issue raised on Xbox.com I like to think that verifies it's credability. It's an ongoing issue that many have had trouble with. I don't think it's a particularly bad issue myself but it is certainly noticeable in some games. Grifball is a good example, server or connection advantage is easy to spot in that when it crops up. Grifball when running fairly should involve running into each other and smashing each other away with the hammer but sometimes you will come up against a group of people who can seemingly just batter their way through anyone. When swinging the hammer at the same time and distance as the opponent usually still results in your death and them not dieing.......

I just assumed it was a US server because it reminded me of playing CoD with shots registering despite me having run around a corner or the opposite of players getting the first shot in before I had even seen them. It's only marginal but enough to make it difficult to be competitive.

Seriously wasn't trying to bait you, just problems I have noticed with Halo 5 being played at a higher pace than previous games. I think it's great, really regret not picking it up at launch.

A new boss & a new USNC vehicle for Warzone -

The first new unit is the Grunt Goblin, a hulking mech piloted by an elite Grunt.

The new unit available to the UNSC forces is called the Wasp. It’s a brand new unit in the Halo universe, designed for close air support (CAS) in hostile environments. It even features vertical take-off and landing.

Warzone Firefight Comes to Halo 5: Guardians on June 29

Since the launch of Halo 5: Guardians last October, fans have had a steady stream of free new maps, game modes, armors, weapon skins and additional customization options to look forward to each month. The eighth and latest free content release, Warzone Firefight – named after the eponymous new mode – is the biggest expansion to Halo 5: Guardians yet and will arrive next Wednesday on June 29!

To celebrate the release of Warzone Firefight next week, the full game of Halo 5: Guardians will be available to download and play FOR FREE to all Xbox Live Gold members from June 29 to July 5 as part of Xbox Live’s “Free Play Days” program. Additionally, Halo 5: Guardians will be on sale for 50 percent off during this same time. There’s no better time to join the Spartan ranks!

The Warzone Firefight content release is packed to the brim with all sorts of Halo goodness and here’s the full rundown of what’s coming in the Warzone Firefight content release:

New Game Mode – Warzone Firefight: Warzone Firefight is, by far, the biggest content release since the launch of Halo 5: Guardians! As a result of the beta in April, 343 Industries has taken player feedback to improve the game mode for launch, such as increasing the difficulty each round and adding brand new bosses and vehicles – including the hilarious (and deadly) Grunt Goblin boss and the powerful UNSC VTOL, AV-49 Wasp, deployable as a REQ vehicle in all Warzone modes and available to use in Forge. Check out Polygon and IGN to get a sneak peek at both of these new additions to Halo 5: Guardians.

New Campaign Feature – Score Attack: As detailed on Halo Waypoint, the Warzone Firefight content release will include a new way to play Halo 5: Guardians’ campaign – Score Attack! Campaign scoring makes a return to Halo 5: Guardians, enabling players to compete against their friends for points and medals in online co-op play or solo. Remember – in Score Attack, the points do matter so be sure to defeat enemies with style and flourish!

New Maps – Attack on Sanctum, Prospect and Molten: The free Warzone Firefight release brings three new maps across multiple game modes: Attack on Sanctum, Prospect and Molten. In the Attack on Sanctum map for Warzone, revisit the Covenant homeworld of Sanghelios, or take it to the rocky roads of Prospect for Warzone Assault. For Arena players, Molten will be a hot new Arena map – be sure not to fall into the stream of lava!

New Forge Canvas – Tidal: Since the release of a new super-charged Forge mode for Halo 5: Guardians in December, Forgers have been hard at work creating some of the most unique, creative and innovative maps ever seen in Halo. The Warzone Firefight release brings a fan-requested canvas, the ocean-themed Tidal. No longer will players have to struggle to find water to Forge on – it’s literally everywhere on Tidal!

New REQs Items: Warzone Firefight adds several new REQ items, including the Cinder and Cyclops armor sets, Covenant vehicle and weapon variants, HCS Pro League weapon skins and additional customization sets.

Started this on Sunday, what a start so far. Much better than 4 even though I actually enjoyed that. I'm off work tomorrow so might give the MP a try. Been a very very long time since I've destroyed folk in Halo's MP I'm probably going to be a pile of wank at it.

It's the same as always but with a fewcaveats, one is that you can now look down sights, but if you're in anyway close I wouldn't, you can now run indefinitely, You now have a jetpack so you can instantaneously move in any direction, hover when aiming, and ground pound, the ground pound is rarely used.

Arena is best place to start, you play 10 games to rank you, then make sure you have search on 'focused', it will take longer but you'll get placed with people at same level.

BTB is 8v8 just like Halo 2/3/4, they've even re-created some old maps, here's me returning CTF 3 TIMES in 60seconds on Valhalla.

What happens at the end of Mission 5? Apart from 1 fight that Monkey joined in to help me and mate on legendary I can't remember anything else too hard during our Legendary run.

You want anyone to jump in tonight hime? The next level is rather special.

With 3 people as you can see it's a piece of pish, you can only damage his back but cos he's facing others its easier, also you play him a few more times but its nowhere near as hard, the reason that one is hard is because the space you fight him in is TINY and he spawns enemies, thankfully we killed him in 2mins so it never got that far. Towards end you fight 3 of them, but I think it's been patched to reduce that to 2! :x

Don't think so, I reached the point of Master Chief buggering off to find Cortana and Locke and Castle being tasked with finding him. Started on the 1st episode from the Halo Nightfall series this morning before work, not bad apart from the dodgy looking Elite.

So does The Arbiter make an appearance? I remember seeing him basically tell the tale of Halo 2 to Locke during the new Halo 2 Anniversary intro.
