Have you tried the Halo 3 mode in Halo 5?

I found it borderline impossible as the improved fidelity and relative lack of cover means you can get stuck out in the open as a sitting duck. I hope it's not the same with this.

I played Halo 3 in the MCC and it already has improved Fidelity but it was much the same. The problem with Halo 5 is that you start with a Battle rifle which is very accurate and also there are dmr's all over the place in both bases. It means you get mullered when out in the open but the same was true in Halo 3. Try walking across the middle of that map unscathed...

I really don't remember it being much of a problem in 3 but maybe it's starting with the BR as you say. Just imagine what people will do with the Halo 1 pistol.

Started playing through Halo 1 again to mop up a few more of the easy(ish) achievements. Forgot about the "connection error" bug in co-op :dread: :fp: Just got onto the Truth and Reconciliation, beat the Hunters, then it kicked me. Is that going to be fixed with all these patches, or are they just going to make it look even prettier while still being unplayable? :shifty:

Wouldn't be so bad if it saved checkpoints in co-op, but for some reason you've *got* to start from the start of the level every time.

Will have to stick with split-screen co-op for the first game. I don't recall it being as bad in the later games...

I got that in Halo 2 Anniversary but none of the other halo's which is odd. I presume its among the fixes they are pushing.

Yeah, I've been reading a few other people's issues and some people get it on games that are fine for others, it's really weird :slol:

I remember it being awful on Halo 1 for me and then a lot better on the other games (I think it happened once on 4, but that was it). Wonder if it's worth waiting for the patch just in case.

Spent about half an hour earlier trying to get the Bandana skull on the Silent Cartographer. Grenade jumps are not my area :fp: Ended up just crashing the warthog into the corridor, flipping it over and using that to push myself through the roof :slol:

Glad they hadn't patched that out yet otherwise I'd still be there struggling with it!

Finished CE again :wub: Got all the skulls and the terminals and got a couple of the little level-specific achievements (No Smoking and the one for not being ejected on the final warthog ride :slol: )

In my stats at the end of the level it said I killed three Brutes on the Maw. I didn't realise they even had Brutes in CE! Was that an addition for the MCC version or has it just gone a little weird?
