Mine's downloading 73GB too, and I haven't got a 1X. So either they're pointlessly forcing me to download the 4K assets, or the 1X download will be even more massive.

Yeah, mine's downloading 73GB despite not having a 1X or a 4K TV or ever having told the xbox to download 4K assets...

The online better be flawless after this...

How do I use the intelligent delivery system?

Launch the MCC, go into options once the game is “Ready to Start” (after 2.3GB is downloaded) and you can then choose which titles to prioritize the download of or which ones to exclude.

Install sizes

Halo 1: 3.5GB
Halo 2: 44.1GB
Halo 3: 11.7GB
ODST: 8.2GB
Halo 4: 18.8GB

MCC UPDATE PATCH NOTES & KNOWN ISSUES (8/27/18)
This update includes numerous new additions, features, improvements and fixes. Here’s a breakdown of the noteworthy changes included in the 8/27 update:

Fixed multiple maps and conditions that caused performance issues for frames rendered
Fixed issues with players being unable to join each other
Fixed multiple soft locks when joining players in various states
Fixed host migration in lobbies and peer-to-peer games
Fixed crashes and instances where a soft lock can occur when accepting invites

KNOWN ISSUES

The team is aware of and actively working on/investigating the following issues for future MCC updates:

Campaign and playlist progress counters may read as 0s across the board on initial launch
Intelligent Delivery prioritization can be lost if console enters Connected Standby during install
Halo 4 Forge objects exposed to the global light source may appear incorrectly
Some career stats do not update until the title is relaunched
Corrupted installation can occur through Intelligent Delivery installation
Aim sensitivity feels faster in update compared to previous MCC retail
Players idling in match are not always automatically removed from the game
Elites are not dual wielding in various Campaign missions
Players with high ping times may be unable to find a game
Objects will pop-in during the Halo 4 Campaign
Players can go out-of-sync when moving from mission to mission in Halo 2 co-op Campaign when there is an original Xbox One hosting and an Xbox One X client
Players may need to reacquire previously collected ODST audio logs before receiving Achievements related to them

Please keep an eye on the MCC Trello Board for the latest list of Known Issues and feedback areas that are under investigation by the team. In some cases, like “Corrupted Installation”, we have additional details to help troubleshoot and work around the problem should you encounter this rare issue.

By the way it downloads in stages, at 37% Halo CE and Halo 2’s campaigns were fully downloaded.

He didn't say it was difficult, just that it wasn't very good.

ODST is the second best Halo. I mean its more consistently good than Combat Evolved, but it doesn't quite hit the heights the original does.

I had to give up playing Halo 2, because there was a bug that stopped my progress being saved. So I'm intensely hoping that it's been fixed.

I've played a little bit of this from the intro to the first ring / array and Halo really does it's own thing well. I like the funky music when first trying to escape the Pillar of Autumn that is deliberately non-sci-fi. And the lush green open area. I want to get stuck into this.

It's supported on Xbone X. It wasn't in the MCC beta/testflight for the S but this info here suggest it has been included.

Anyone know anything about any issues with the Toy achievements in Halo 2? Picked two up earlier in co-op, and I got the achievement but player 2 didn't...

I think we've both unlocked the achievements in previous levels, but could that be because before we were in splitscreen but now we're playing over the internet?

Casual BTB is up now incorporating maps from Halo 2, Halo 2 Anniversary, 3 and 4. Played Halo 3 Valhalla slayer and got destroyed, I used to win BR battles one on one but lost out nearly every time. It didn't help that our team was full of noobs and the other team kept getting the lazer and destroying our banshee's.

Casual team is also up incorporating Halo CE, 2, 2 Ann, 3 and 4 in slayer and objective games 4v4, all the games also have their own play lists, Halo 3 seems to be the most popular. With so many maps and so many objectives in some of the play lists, it's hard to argue against it being vast in selection.

I like how you can have the same controls for all 4 halo's, makes the transition from game to game easier. Roll on gamepass tomorrow and tons of noobs!
