I've really enjoyed it too.

There really is no way it's gonna get a second season though. Which is a shame, as I'd love to see where they go with it after "The Giant".

Yeah, this has quietly become my most looked forward to show at the moment. I do kind of feel like one series is enough for it though, although obviously I'd prefer it to have been more successful.

Decent show, I'll be slightly disappointed at it's inevitable cancellation. Left plenty of storylines open for season 2 if a miracle happens.

Yeah, it's a shame. Plenty of places to go with it, but I doubt we'll see any more. Went from thinking Donna was a bit annoying to absolutely loving her in the last episode. She stopped being miserable and actually had some fun.

Against all odds, a second series has been commissioned! :o

AMC are hoping to build its audience over time, which is surprisingly patient and sensible.

A shockingly sensible decision on AMC's part. Good on them.

Still not forgiving them for Rubicon.

Get in. Was totally expecting to never see this show again. Really glad to see it's getting another shot.

Good times. :D

Though it wasn't till I watched GOTG again that I realised that Lee Pace played Ronan the Accuser. :fp:

Very positive reviews coming in for Season 2.

It's interesting to see a television series focus not only on game development, but the building of an online community during 1980s. Let alone doing it in a way that actually depicts realism, and quite frankly, honesty for what the gaming audience is all about. I watch a lot of television. I'm quite used to seeing different programs spout out random catchphrases and obligatory references to popular games in order to connect with gamers. But the brilliant thing about Halt and Catch Fire is that it not only features characters who are hardcore gamers, but they use their passion as the fuel for their creative endeavors. And that is refreshing to see on a television series.

In its second season, Halt and Catch Fire has swiveled to become a different, better show.

Looks like it's really capitalised on all that S1 potential. :toot:

Good start to the season. :D
I like that Donna is still managing to have some fun. It's a far more interesting side to her that we rarely saw last season.
Cameron is still Cameron.
Joe seems quite defeated throughout the whole thing, though there are glimmers of good things coming for him. I guarantee that his engagement isn't going to work out though.
Gordon. Just seemed to be in a daze through the entire episode. Between the memory loss and nose-bleeds (Not to mention the "episodes" he had in the first season) I think there's definitely something going on with him. I'm going to put an early bet down on brain-tumour.
And then right at the end. The return of my favourite supporting character. Massive grins all round when he appeared.

But yeah, so glad it's back and it's managed to maintain the quality it picked up towards the end of the first season. I never thought we'd see another season, so to have another 8-10 episodes makes me very happy.

Oh and it's an excuse to post the intro again.

Really loving this season so far. I'm finding Joe's story a little uninteresting (perhaps because it's quite disconnected from everything else) but that's a minor quibble. Cameron and Donna are great together.

Yeah. It's definitely been better than last season so far. Donna and Cameron have been really good together as well.

I'll be interested to see how Joe's story ends up tying in with the others.

I got myself a sound bar between the first season and this, so that intro has become even better now. 8-)

I absolutely loved the first season of this, although it took a few episodes to really grab me. It won me over straight away this time.

Pretty outstanding episode this week. The ratings continue to be dire unfortunately.

Excellent finale to an excellent season. Now watch AMC cancel it.

So this.

Really seemed to hit it's stride this time around. Again, I have little hope of a 3rd season, but then I thought that after the first.

Great news, I heard a couple of weeks ago that the signs were good but very happy to see it's official.
