Hannibal is an American psychological thriller–horror television series developed by Bryan Fuller for NBC. The series is based on characters and elements appearing in the novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris and focuses on the budding relationship between FBI special investigator Will Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist destined to become Graham's most cunning enemy.

Did we not have a thread for Season 1? Couldn't find it.

Anyway, let the madness resume. :D

Nope but I think it deserves one for season 2.

I have been avoiding every vid and image of season 2 simply to avoid any possibility of spoilers.

This is wise considering how spoilery the trailers are.

I saw a trailer the other day. Regretted it pretty quickly. Still, it'll be amazing nonetheless.

I would have preferred they made the trailers from season one footage and made it in to an ARG hinting to happenings in season two.

I've somehow successfully managed to not see any season 2 promo stuff.

Entertainment Weekly claims to have uploaded the very spoilery opening scene of season 2. Thankfully the video doesn't load for me. I have no self-control.

Even the link name is a spoiler.

Reviews have started to roll in: http://www.metacritic.com/tv/hannibal/season-2

All very positive so far. Sepinwall really liked it too: Hannibal serves-up-delicious second season course. (potential spoilers)

I don't usually get overly excited for TV/Films/anything but for this I'm very much looking forward to seeing the new season.

It's a shame because I want to like Hannibal I love the books, the movies and maybe that's part of the problem I just can't accept anybody but Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. I also think Will Graham is far too whiny yes he's a seriously troubled individual but the TV series leans a little too heavily on his inability to cope.

That opening scene, holy strawberry float!

Was Cynthia Nixon's neck always that long? That's all I could keep thinking about while she was on screen.
