tbf, you shouldn't be doing that either. The season 2 finale ends with the ludicrous who actually survives cliffhanger.

Knowing who's in season 3 totally ruins it (and also ruins any other characters who may or may not be returning - thinking specifically of Freddie, depending on when during season 2 you looked it up).

I was disappointed and horrified about the way S2 ended. When Bloom is standing there with her gunned hannibal, twin knives in hand is just launching himself at the door..

Yeah season 3 could be improved if the first two episodes were condensed to one, though I did like them. It does pick up massively though, is 3x04 the one with the great Hannibal/Jack rematch?

Question. The guy who ate his own face, which film is he in? And is this set before Silence of the lambs? Or have the tv show producers stolen the ideas for killing from the film, or the book?
Im a bit confused as to the timeline, if at all they fit in with the films, or are even meant to?

Mason Verger appears in the film Hannibal. The order of the books and films are Red Dragon > Silence of The Lambs > Hannibal but the show mixes it up. All of the stuff in season 3 with Hannibal in Italy and Mason Verger is from the film Hannibal and in the show Red Dragon is set after that. The show would have done some version of Silence of the Lambs but it got cancelled.

I don't see it happening now unfortunately. Apparently Amazon was interested in doing it but they would have wanted to start production immediately with the same showrunner and Bryan Fuller had already agreed to showrun American Gods for Showtime. IIRC he would have been unavailable for a year so Amazon said no.
