I want the knives. And possibly the last scene dress Gillian Anderson wears so I could prance about the house cooking dinner like a strawberry floating princess.

Hannibal showrunner wants to do Silence of the Lambs arc

http://ew.com/tv/2016/12/23/bryan-fulle ... the-lambs/

Hannibal spoilers within the link.

If it were to happen, Fuller sees it as a irregular mini series.

LTTP but boy is it worth it.

I don't think I've ever seen a show as bleak and dark as this one but it's entirely gripping throughout. Just started season 2 and can't see myself slowing down now, especially after how Season 2 begins

Final episode of season 2 is my favorite episode of any show ever. Just utterly amazing. Season 3 gets better with re watches however the last episode of season 3 is amazing. First few episodes of season 3 are very different but stick with it.

Looks like season 4 is going to happen as Fuller has been talking it up again. Plus it will likely be made by Starz like American Gods so he can have it full uncut.

Wish my image sig would work

Bryan Fuller Says Talks Have Begun On Bringing Back HANNIBAL

Don't get TOO excited, though. That's literally all we know.

Sometimes a little hope is all you need to make it through the day. It may be false hope built upon shaky foundation, but a little self-deception never hurt anyone.

What I’m getting at with this involves Hannibal, a show whose death fans have had a very hard time accepting. Hannibal is probably not coming back. But - and let’s be careful with that but - Bryan Fuller has confirmed that he and Martha De Laurentiis have started talking about doing something new with the show.

This may seem late for such things, but apparently they could not discuss Hannibal until two years after the show went off the air, this in accordance to rules of the strange and esoteric elf magicks that allowed them to get the show on in the first place:

Where does that leave you, gentle Hannibal fan? Well, your show still has a long way to go before getting back on the air. But we are a people who live off hope. May this tiny bit sustain you and not drive you to insanity.

He says a lot of things so I'm skeptical. Talks with Netflix(?) didn't get anywhere last time because they wanted him working on it full-time and he was attempting to show-run both American Gods and Star Trek.

Considering gooseberry fool like prison break gets to come back, I remain hopeful.

Loved this show and as has been said, the season 2 finale was strawberry floating incredible. Plus once season got past those 4 odd opening ones and started That story, it was amazing.

God I miss it.

I'll happily wait a couple of years for their version of silence of the lambs. Names will be changed unless they acquire the rights so it'll be agent owl trying to catch kangaroo Keith.

The 5 most grisly scenes

WARNING: The following article contains graphic images. AND SPOILERS.

There are a few key things that set the violence of Bryan Fuller's Lecter origin story Hannibal apart from other shows in its genre – the ravishing cinematography, the sheer, grisly ingenuity of the gore, and the fact that each horrifying image holds psychological weight rather than mere shock value. It's why we miss it so.

Nevertheless it is, by Fuller's own admission, a near-miracle that half of this stuff got past NBC's Standards & Practices department. With the ever-lovely Fannibal Appreciation Day in the US this week, Digital Spy looks back at the cult hit's five most censor-defying moments…

...

One of season one's more memorable killers of the week has a religious MO, which involves flaying the skin off his victims' backs and lifting up the flaps to resemble angel wings, exposing the ribs and spine beneath.

In a sad, creepy twist that's pure Hannibal, it turns out he has a fatal brain tumour and is creating guardian angels to watch over him because he's afraid of dying.

NBC initially rejected the shot above of a naked, flayed couple, not because of the exposed muscle tissue and blood and sinew, but because - as quoted by Fuller - "'We can see their butt cracks.' So I said, 'What if we filled the butt cracks with blood so we couldn't see the cracks?' And they said okay!"

... Standards and practices logic, ladies and gents!

Definitely agree with their choice for number 1 :dread: Still can't watch it properly.

Oh, man. Number 3 was probably even more uncomfortable viewing than number 1 for me. I've only just finished season 2 recently, which was brilliant. I really hope Alana Bloomis alright, though. I lover her.

I found the most striking image was still when Crawford found the Lab girl in the observatory and she'd been vertically sliced and displayed. That was amazing and horrifying at the same time.

I'm convinced that all the censors are busybody suburban soccer moms.
