Almost finished the Nagasaki/Hiroshima podcast, was a bit sceptical about 2 and a bit hours worth of a podcast but it really flowed very nicely and definitely wasn't a chore to listen to. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to move on to some others, so thanks for posting about it!

Can't recommend Wrath of the Khans highly enough. Planned to listen to the series throughout my holiday but I'd finished it within the first few days. Fascinating stuff.

Death Throes Of The Republic is my favorite.

Wrath Of The Khans, has a "extra" episode as well. So if you loved it, you can buy the extra one for a dollar. In those episodes, he is less structured and just talks about any extra stuff they didn't put in the main series.

New podcast is out on World War 1. 1st part is 3 hours long.

Finally, if this is anything like Ostfront we are in for a treat.

Can't wait to give that a listen.

Hearing excellent things about this

I have an exam tomorrow, but I think I will listen to the whole show tonight.

I'm slogging through the final part of the Fall of the Roman Republic. 5 hours! Look forward to listening to the new WWI episode.

Downloaded the WWI episode, strawberry floating awesome. Hearing him describe Princip's actions in the moments before he killed Ferdinand was awesome, especially as I was on that street in Sarajevo earlier this year.

One hell of a length though, it sure ain't no casual listening. I've actually started going to bed early so I can sit and listen for an hour before going to sleep.

The new one sounds interesting.

Does anyone else here listen to Common Sense? Yeah, it is mainly about American politics but that stuff interests me given the effect the dire political situation in American is having on the world.

Anyone got any tips on how to approach Death Throes of the Republic part 6? It's 5 and a half hours.

I tend to listen to longer episodes in bite-sized half hour to an hour chunks.

Just listen to it before bed. When you start feeling that you aren't paying attention, turn off and go to sleep.
It isn't a hard listen anyway, it is very interesting.

Started in the car. Been listening for nearly two hours now.

Is there a decent app for Android you can use to make bookmarks in podcasts and stuff? And perhaps a feature where you can undo accidentally clicking the progress bar and losing your place.
