Except plenty of people have already played Wii U on the E3 floor.

But still only tech demos.

As much as I'd like to buy a Vita, we all know that the first year of a console's life is usually full of underwhelming games (whether the launch line-up is good or not) and so I'll happily wait for a year or two on that one.

The Wii U was a bit 'meh' for me, nothing there has me particularly interested in buying one.

The 3DS may get a purchase for Revelations but a friend of mine has offered to loan me his when it's released, so that's another one off the list.

As far as hardware goes, it's not been quite the amazing spectacle I was expecting. There's certainly less buzz surrounding it than when the last lot of consoles/handhelds were unveiled.

Move and Kinect are still pish, nowhere near sold on Wii U but it's well over a year away so no real issue there.
Do now want a 3DS however, Mario, Luigi's Mansion 2 plus new footage of Starfox and Mario Kart have now sold me on it.

This may be a bit off topic, but seeing the amount of good games that are being shown, and considering the ones I haven't played from previous years, I'm starting to think I won't EVER need another console! This must get said every Gen, but how much better can it really get?

If the future of games is stuff like Kinect and 3D, then I'll gladly keep my PS3 and Dualshock, I feel like the stuff that is coming out now can give me the most enjoyment I can get out of gaming, if that makes sense.

Move and Kinect - No.

Vita and 3DS - Maybe.

Paper Mario 3DS is already a good reason to get 3DS when it comes out, but Luigi's Mansion 2 added to that. Liking the look of new Wii U as well.

Kincet games looks fun (haters gotta hate) but I won't buy them at full price.

I've pre-ordered a wifi Vita but I suppose I was always going to just because of my strange fascination with oled but the new Nintendo system is yet to convince me. I will be buying Skyrim even though I could get it for nothing from lovefilm but it seems the sort of game I will dip in and out of a lot.

You wouldn't even scratch the surface if you rented it.

It's convinced me to stick with the consoles I have.

And also that kinect is a piece of crap that will never be worth anyone's time, except for perhaps being home to the best version of fruit ninja.

Nope. Next year's E3 (and all the TGSs and GDCs between now and then) may convince me on the Wii U. All this year's has done is show only a handful of games I'll look forward to and a lack of real originality that's starting to cripple my interest in gaming.
