...in a new gaming device/peripheral?

After seeing the up and coming line-up for the 3DS I've decided to start saving my pennies, which is a bit of a turn around as I'd originally planned to ignore the new handhelds after having already been though several DS' and PSPs.

What about yourselves? Have any of the big three got you reaching for your wallet?

Nope. If anything it convinced me that Kinect is not, and never will be, for me.

Skyward Sword has finalised my decision to buy a new Wii.

Nope.

If anything, it's convinced me to buy more third party titles though.

So far it's persuaded me to get some games that i didn't plan on getting....but in terms of new hardware...not at the moment. I was hoping for some stuff that would really tempt me to get Kinect but i've been disappointed so far. Need to see and hear more about the new Wii before making a decision on that to be honest

Of course, it's far too early to make a decision on Wii U. That would be like deciding to buy a PS3 when they were still in the Boomerang and Tech Demo phase.

I'm sold on the 3DS now. I know we've known about a lot of the games already shown, but seeing them in action plus the added functionality to the console itself is enough to push me into buying one. I may wait until Crimbo for inevitable sales, mind.

Similarly I like the look of the Vita, and its pricing is just about right considering the level of tech offered. Just need to see more of the device to convince me it's worth buying and not just another PSP.

Wii U is certainly interesting and I'll succumb to the shiny new Nintendo console regardless. Just hope we get more info to clarify certain aspects as they didn't really show much in the conference. Certainly brings a lot of possibilities to the table and is already more appealing than the 360/PS3 to me.

I am tempted to get a Wii U for my niece when released but other than that no.

It hasn't convinced me to invest in any new hardware at the moment, but there's a lot of games that have drawn my attention. Honestly, there must be 30+ games that I'm specifically going to be keeping an eye on for demos at E3.

I'd have liked to see a few more 3DS games, as four out of the five we already know about, so hopefully there'll be some more 3D party stuff on its way.

Luigi's Mansion is a pleasant surprise, and the others will all get bought, so it justifies my purchase somewhat.

Vita looked nice, but if this generation of handhelds has taught me something, it's that I just can't support playing two, so unless I am burdened with more money then sense, I will hold off on it for a while. If the software line up is astounding or there's a price drop, I may get it. I only got a 3DS so early because I got it for £149.

Wii U I will also hold out on to learn a bit more. I'll still get one, as I've had the past three Nintendo consoles, and it will no doubt supplement either the 720 or PS4. Not sure I can support all three home consoles next generation either, as it's been a struggle this time around. Its games and price tag decide on how early I get it, as well as when MS are planning to launch their next console. Q4 this year is going to be very expensive and my wallet will take a massive hit, so hopefully Wii U launches closer to December 2012 than April.

Nothing's convinced me that Kinect or Move are worth it, especially with the price tag Kinect carries. It's not really for a solo hardcore gamer with no children.

I'll be getting Wii 2 I think, about time I got a new Nintendo

Won't be getting Vita, PSP bored me

Kinect failed to provide decent games

I put my PS Move on eBay this morning

No.

I will probably still be getting a 3DS, but what I saw here hasn't changed my perspective. I suspect that the coming days will show if there's lots of cool stuff heading that way.

PS3? No. Which obviously rules out Move as well.
PS Vita? No.
Kinect? No.
Wii U? No.

I'm happy with my 360, and I suppose the only peripheral I'll be buying in the near future is a Wii Motion + for Skyward Sword.

While I liked a few things at the Nintendo conference none of the big companies really grabbed me this year. Still might get a 3DS though if the right games come along.

Nope.

I may end up with a handheld soon but it won't be because of this year's E3.

Thinking about vita.

The price is right.

However, I need to see more games rather than the usual suspects & need to know whether I can use my ps3 account on it. If I do buy it I wont be buying it straight away as I also want to see if they can keep other games than those emotastical jrpgs coming out.

I'm all over the 2 handhelds, they both look excellent. However, I know I just wouldn't use them. I don't commute anywhere on public transport, I don't have a wife/girlfriend hogging the tv, so...

I think Uncharted Vita was outstanding, so was the new Mario, but even that is not enough to sway me.

Except plenty of people have already played Wii U on the E3 floor.

But still only tech demos.
