hauppauge hd pvr software advice

So I got one of these second hand off ebay recently and it was missing the installation disk. I've installed all the drivers but I'm having issues with capture software. I tried using hauppauge game capture but it just breaks instantly so I'm currently using the arcsoft software from my old capture device, problem is that software only records in 4:3 which is pretty gooseberry fool.
Anyone got a good solution? Alternative software?

EDIT: Thinking about it the issue may be that I'm trying to record a wii because the software does have a ps3/360 mode on it for game capture. It may be that wii only records in 4:3 due to the system being SD or something.

Perhaps AmaRecTV might work? Not 100% sure though as I've never used that capture device myself.
