I haven't seen it yet, but I get the feeling you're taking the piss :P

Incidentally, I have previous with Mensch. I was reading the email conversation my friend (in her constituency) was having about a traffic matter in Corby. I but into the conversation saying

"hey, louise, you're hot, but that's all you've got going for you"

The conversation ended rather promptly after that.

That doesn't mean you have 'previous'.

I'll catch this on iPlayer later, along with my other Friday night panel shows.

She is very, very naive. She would be hellish on any kind of internet forum.

I got the point she was trying to make. Seeing anti-capitalist protesters queuing for Starbucks and using iPhones does make you wonder how serious they are about the whole "smash the system" and "end globalisation" stuff. She picked the wrong platform to air her views though and looked pathetic when she attempted to have a go at Merton for being a rich TV star.

Just watched the extended version from Sunday. Coupled with her poorly researched outburst at Piers Morgan earlier this year, 2011 really is showing up Mensch to be absolutely strawberry floating useless.

New series just starting on BBC1. Did the BBC publicise it at all?

He seems like an ok chap, but just not someone you'd want on a current affairs programme. There was quite a jarring bit where he almost yelled out "And the Euro's not lookikng to hot" (or something) and rambled off a lot of facts on the one topic he'd clearly memorised.

The comedian getting a dripping wide-on for Lewis was funny, but that was about it for her.

Clarkson hosting, Nancy Dell'Olio guesting. This could be interesting.

DAMN YOU REVISION!

That I'm clearly doing with a great deal of focus. (Hey. Shut up. The TV's off. That's focused. *Browsers Internet*)

Guess who's been confirmed as a guest host in a few weeks?

William Shatner has been confirmed as a guest presenter of Have I Got News For You later this month.

The 81-year-old Star Trek icon will present the long-running topical news quiz on Friday, May 25 at 9pm on BBC One.

Shatner will be joined by guest panellists Charlie Brooker and Andy Hamilton for the episode, the BBC confirmed in a statement.

"English sense of humour is different from American sense of humour. Luckily I'm Canadian," Shatner said of his appointment.

Alexander Armstrong will host the show for a record 20th time later this week on Friday, May 11 with Reginald D Hunter and Tory MP Nadine Dorries.

Alistair Campbell will make his presenting debut on June 1, with comedian Ross Noble and The Apprentice's Nick Hewer as guests.

The final episode of the current 43rd series will feature Kirsty Young as host for an 11th time with guests Victoria Coren and Inbetweeners star Greg Davies on Friday, June 8.

Regular captain Ian Hislop said last year that he would like former Prime Minister Tony Blair to appear on the programme.

William Shatner embarked on a one-man Broadway show titled Shatner's World: We Just Live In It earlier this year.

Not fussed about Shatner, but I like Andy Hamilton and Charlie Brooker. :D
