Have you ever experienced the 'Tetris Effect'?

I used to get it bad with Hexic HD and Lumines.

That's exactly what I had with Lumines recently! I had to stop playing the game in the end because it became such a huge annoyance that I couldn't shut my brain off.

He most horrible thing I've had is the beep beep beep when you are running out of hearts in Zelda a link to the past on gba. I was playing for about 12 hours on a car trip. The noise kept coming back into my head, it was strawberry floating dreadful.

The only thing that gets stuck in my head is the Tetris Theme as it's so darn catchy.

I once had that with the ''alerted' sound effect from MGS, drove me mental for a few days.

And yes, Hexic HD and Lumines have definitely caused the Tetris Effect on numerous occasions.

And by that we mean he snorted some coke and made off in a transit van.
