When I connect my 360 or PS3 to any of my TVs, I have this problem where the picture occasionally blacks out for a second. I've tried different cables, and it's happening on different TVs. :?

Anyone have any idea what's going on - how to fix this?

Different cables and different devices? Odd. Try holding the PS3 on button down until it resets the display settings.

My son has a similar problem with his bluray player and TV. Very odd that it happens with different cables and TV's though. Have you tried letting the PS3 and 360 go through the automatic settings when you change TV?

Yes?

Does the sound die too?

I have this happen with my pc but I'm not sure if it's the tv or gpu.

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow, although it's doing it with my 360 too. I dunno.

The sound stays on. I'm going to move cables around and see if it's some sort of interference. Even though it's doing it to two TVs, I've had them both in the same place - in other words, I had one TV in my living room replaced with another to see if it changed things.

I don't know how to do automatic settings? I'll have a look around.
