Do you know any good places I can go to, so I can change the picture settings to their optimal settings?

I keep playing with the colour and picture settings, and keep making it look worse.

yeah I tried them, but there doesn't seem to be any settings for my specific model of TV, Are there any sites I can go to with test patterns etc that I can use to setup the TV?

I remember someone posting a thread on GR that showed you how to setup, does anyone still have that?

Cheers

I've started to notice bleeding colours on 360 games. :(

I have a Sony KDL32D3000 and the 360 is hooked up through VGA. I've never noticed the bleeding before but I played FEAR and the blacks blur quite a bit. So I tried MoH Airborne and a red nazi flag did the same and I could see the blurring clearly.

I've never noticed this before so I'm not sure if it's a new thing or if I just wasn't aware of it til now.

So is this a fault with the TV or what? And if I were to replace it and get a new 32" HDTV, what would be a good option that definitely wouldn't have any ghosting/bleeding?

Try a HDMI cable, it might be a fault with the VGA cable.

Whats a decent cheap 17-19 inch hd tv? I'm after buying one for my own room when I'm away as I can't take the lovely 42 inch hd tv with me. (uni)

I'm no expert but the best in that size are Sony's (I think) but they're pretty expensive.

I'm sure someone on here got a 19" LG, not certain though.

I'm very indecisive.

The Samsungs are alright 19 inchers.

Just get a set of 2.1 speakers, for gods sake! (I can't have a different sound system due to my room being weird, and the Samsung speakers are godawful).

But if you can afford it, get a Sony.

Yeah, don't buy from Currys. I think (but I need carlos to confirm) that John Lewis'll price match. Or Comet. Currys are cretins.

I am getting it from dixons now...which is the same thing like but I am confident everything will be all right :)

Reason is I typed in the TV model name on google before and a sponsered link came up for dixons.

Is this TV any good? I don't want a plasma as it will generate too much heat.
