Don't we have a thread for TV shows with a similar name?

How about "TV buying thread"?

I feel bad now; I recommended the Samsung KS7000 to a friend (a lot of people have it here too) and Samsung's shoddy build quality has struck again. She's had to send it back...twice. The back was loose/falling off on both sets.

It's a great TV too, but Samsung really are a strawberry floating joke. She probably thinks I don't know anything about technology now...

Would it be too Farfetch'd to claim that it was intentional?

Well I've taken the plunge and gone and purchased the Sony Bravia 55XD9305 & HT-NT5 soundbar this morning. Managed to get John Lewis/the Sony rep to take it down to £1,793 with pretty much no resistance whatsoever (insert your own jokes here).

Holding my breath for a Samsung KS7000 on Black Friday.

Has anyone tried a HDR feed on it? Decent performance?

If you want to get closer to 'proper' HDR you need to go up a level to the KS8000. You're really looking for a TV that has full-array dimming of the backlight but they're still exceptionally expensive.

In that price bracket the 7000 is the best you can get for gaming though, and it does also feature the all important Ultra HD Premium logo from the UHD Alliance.
