As long as its High Speed it should be fine, there's no such thing as a HDMI 2.0 cable.

Stop saying happy days :dread:

I found the PS4 Pro to be really useful for telling if everything is working correctly. In the screen settings thingy it pretty much does a checklist of your tvs compatibility and whats currently on.

Cleaned up and removed my Panny Plasma. Got a bit emotional saying goodbye. 8 years of beautiful HD service.
Not a mark on the screen or a thing wrong with it. My mates are lucky strawberry floats. She’s still a beaut.

But enough about you wanking in the mirror, when are you going to watch your new films?

Absolutely. Make sure HDR is activated for all inputs too before you start. I had to do that on mine for some odd reason.

Have you seen Dunkirk before? Watched it for the first time the other night and there's nothing in there visually spectacular enough to warrant a UHD purchase imo.

We got planet earth 2 and Everest free with our player. Everest bar a few nice shots is also not worth having on UHD. Planet earth is has dropping in places thought.

Gave my 42" Panny Plasma to an old couple via Freecycle. They came to pick it up in a Vauxhall Corsa, with pillows in the back to cushion it for the journey

They were really appreciative. I'm glad it went to a good home.

Depending on the channel being watched, SD either looks a bit crap or utterly abysmal on my Sony XE93.

Whilst everyone else is moving on to OLEDS and 4K etc, I'm going back in time to good old plasma.

I just bought a second hand 9th gen Pioneer Kuro 50" (currently have a Pioneer 42 Kuro which I bought 10 years ago and is still going strong).

I still prefer the natural looking picture of plasma over anything else out there today...I will use my Plasmas as long as they continue to work. :toot:
