Who has Virgin Media for their TV? Hands up. Now, who - after what they've just pulled - feels like dropping support immediately?
I wouldn't mind them dropping all UKTV network channels from their line-up - except for the obvious fact that it's the most watched in this household - but they don't even offer up any good alternatives for what they're getting rid of, just moving other channels into those spaces.
And also, telling people to just use Netflix or UKTV's website is as good as telling people they just don't care. For years my dad has been saying he wants to replace Virgin with a new provider. This has just given him a further reason to do so, and soon.

Haven't been in here in forever. So much for sticking around, huh?

Just booked tickets to go to MCM Manchester next week (first time going) purely for Retro Replay Live, since they finally announced a time for it and public transport there allows me to go, which was a fear of mine. Hopefully the signing times work out too, so I can get Troy Baker to sign my copy of The Last of Us Remastered.

So yeah, pretty damn good right now.

Today was an amazing day, my friend Karl arrived over here today (he is staying with my parents at their holiday home in East Yorkshire for a week) but first we meet for a catch up and a chat and I just expected us to go out somewhere for lunch but we headed towards a hill near where I live that we had been before and all set out was a Bavarian picnic with coolers, ice buckets, table, chairs, small gazebo etc it looked incredible and he had his guitar and sang a few songs and one was “a love that will never grow old” which is one of my favourite songs and he sang it in German and it was quite moving, I have no idea how he organised it all but I really enjoyed it and it made me feel rather special, it was a extremely nice, generous and unexpected thing to do and something I will never forget,

Update: Turns out they sign all day, so I'm 100% gonna have a signed copy by the end of the day. I'm so happy.

If I do well at the Pokemon cards I’m renouncing my English residency and English passport and claiming this as a win for Ireland tbh

Does the winner of the world championship get to use the title pokemon master in everyday life?

yes, yes they do

I'm pretty sure Nintendo use it in publicity too

Picked up a corocoro comic last weekend when i was in London (JP Books are currently selling older issues for a fiver each), was hoping for a pokemon card inside but this issue only contained a yugioh one.
