Saw a few gifs of that woman's set, I'm expecting good things :slol: Gonna email the BBC later to see if they're bothering with the translated subtitles this year after just showing the original language versions last year, to the dismay of *everyone*. There's no point whatsoever showing subtitles in the song's original language  :fp: Idiocy.

Wasn't that so you could have a singalong?

Apparently the made-for-singing-along red-button singalong showed the translated lyrics, but I dunno if that's the norm now or what. I think it'd be reasonably difficult to sing along to the foreign tracks anyway, it doesn't give you a sound breakdown or anything :P

I love a bit of Eurovision, great to get pissed to and have a good laugh although it's not half as funny now that there are proper songs being entered.

99% of the entrants last year were too serious and generally shite. I've only heard a couple of the entrants this year, but it feels like there's a lot more who are entering for the fun of it rather than to cry about how awful Russia are. Still flabbergasted Ukraine won :fp:

Portugal won last year, but the song was really boring.

Thankfully there seems to be more in the way of mental content this year which can only be a good thing.

I still remember a few years back when there was a performance involving pointy cone hats and a girl on a unicycle.

Haven't bothered with eurovision in a couple of years now. My brother on the other hand is obsessed by it and will probably achieve his dream of seeing it live next year.

Very much looking forward to my annual Eurovision party. I say 'party', but it's like three people getting pissed and having a BBQ.

It's just a shame that they always use their own video player on the site rather than just embedding youtube videos, my view count is already at 119,000 so being added directly to there would have gained a whole lot more.

Well i can't complain too much, the ad revenue the video has gained on YT since 1st May alone has already exceeded £40.

Tried to get some animal crossing amiibo cards from Argos... There's apparently none whatsoever in brum, but there are some 30 miles away in Uttoxeter. I can't travel so that's out of the question. Bugger.

Tried eBay too but it seems that most are individual cards and I don't want to spend over a fiver for one pack of them when Argos are selling them much cheaper.

The only other place then would be the official Nintendo store, they are £3.49 a pack

You could try asking in Argos if they could transfer you some from one store to another one near you,
