Now I don't know your situation at all so your situation might be totally different, but something similar happened to me, and in the end that girl became my wife. I was a total idiot to try and break up as I was nervous about getting married when actually it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Just thinking about it makes me really glad she didn't just leave me be.

Is this the same girl who was unsympathetic when you were upset about the river incident the other week? Because this doesn't sound like a very healthy relationship. I don’t know why you decided to dump her, or how your relationship is generally, but you shouldn’t let her pressure you into staying with her if you’re not happy, it won’t be good for either of you.

God, where to start. In short, I was happier when I was single and I don't find her particularly sexually attractive. I'm going through a lot of transitory stuff in my life right now and I don't want the responsibility of a relationship.

We've only been together six months and I have no intention of marrying her. With that being said I think there's still fuel left in the tank and maybe I was being hasty.

Yeah, she's a bit of a hardass at times but so am I; I don't think she meant anything by it. She's really cool, just sometimes she's a little too cool.
