Never been up that way myself, it's certainly impressive.

It was nice to stop, stretch my legs and have a little walk, it’s even nicer for me living so far inland to see the sea

Hah, true! It's much more fun opening them, even if that is totally impractical. The trading system is kind of weird and complicated when you're just getting into it, especially since the whole thing is kind of makeshift, rather than like an official system it teaches you. I never really knew how many packs to offer for the cards I needed without getting ripped off. Still, since you can play for free and still get tradable boosters I cut the game some slack there.

All of my lecturers started striking today so it looks like I don't have lectures for two weeks; in light of this I've decided to go home tomorrow and stay with family for a bit, so I'm looking forward to that.

Sat waiting for my best mate to get his ass online finally so we can arrange a meet up. I caught up with him after losing contact 12 years ago (he lives in Wales, I'm in brum). He seemed really happy to be back in contact with me when I finally found him, he'd seemingly been looking for me too. He hasn't been online for nearly a month, I'm starting to get worried.

My partner has been talking again about us moving to the south of France and buying/setting up hotel rentals like gites or even yurts and he has always wanted a vineyard all this is a little strange as even though we have discussed this before he hates going abroad and refuses to go to Germany ever, I would be up for moving abroad permanently until he mentioned the M word and I quickly changed the subject

If anyone has cats is it normal for them to try and climb up you? One of the new three Bengals does this, when I go into the room he runs at me as soon as he sees he and starts climbing up me, he also won’t let the other two anywhere near me, I don’t mind it but I also don’t really want to be scratched/cut by his claws

Your long-time boyfriend keeps telling you he wants to marry you, even to start a life together with you in an idyllic location in the South of France, spending the rest of his life with you...

... and you changed the subject?

What about that guy you like in Germany? What happened to him? Maybe he's the reason your boyfriend doesn't like going to Germany?

I do NOT want to get married or civil partned or anything like that, he saved up purchased a platinum ring for me about 5 months after we meet and I told him there and then so it’s not new news, he has tried over the years we “romantic” gestures which is surprising because he’s not really like that and claims not to be attracted to any other men, I’m not mean or nasty but that’s how it is

You changed the subject? You didn't bother having a grown-up conversation about it? It sounded like he wanted to talk about it.

I’d rather change the subject or spill my drink than be in a position to have to say no to him after we have had a nice day and then for him to be in a mood or feel down, my parents have been married 51 years and it’s great for them but I’m different,

You just said you did say no to him. You said it wasn't new news. Obviously he didn't get the message. Between this, and him not even knowing about Karl, it sounds like there's more than one conversation you need to have with your boyfriend. I suggest you tell him the truth.

I'm obviously not going to convince you that talking to your boyfriend is the right thing to do. I just want to get across this.

If I were your boyfriend (to the point of having planned to propose to you, with a platinum ring), and I found out you said "I do love Karl very deeply and he loves me" without telling me, I would be mortified.
