Trust him to find a bus with leather seats

If he really wanted to win against his partner, why doesn’t he buy the bus, raise the fare for the proles and then create a bus empire that keeps him in vacuum cleaners for the next few decades?

You say that, but we would end up spending our entire lives working in allotments, just to grow enough carrots to survive the winter.

Is that really worth it just to have WiFi on a bus?

What's the carrot season like in the UK, can we really rely on carrots to see us through the winter?

This is why we need free WiFi on buses so that the proles can research which vegetables they need to grow to keep the bourgeoisie sated.

You have no idea do you? The WiFi on the buses is for the plebs to play music as loudly as they can through their tinny sounding phone speakers.

WiFi is a tool of the common people which they will use to rise up and throw off the yoke of oppression placed upon them by a corrupt ruling class! Those tinny tunes you hear on the buses are a call to arms for a generation which for too long has been under the heel of a fraudulent and immoral dictatorship!

No longer will we grow their carrots and turnips only to be left with the dregs from their top table!

No longer will we be forced to take their buses to work ourselves to dust in the name of a broken promise from a dirty system!

Workers of the world unite; you have nothing to lose but your carrots!

From Labour's momentum group to Conservative grass roots there is a revolt against the establishment that has ruled those parties for ever.

The trouble with revolution is it always ends badly.

Communism, the French Revolution, China, Cuba, I cannot think of one revolution that has overthrown the old establishment and has ended well, scary!

Yeah revolutions do tend to come at a high price and often fail to achieve anything like the levels of success that some people hoped they would.

They're a bit like Brexit in that respect!

I collected the car and the outside looks ok but the inside is a bit of a mess, it runs perfectly though and is quite quick, photo taken at the auction (people cover over the number plate in photos so I did the same)

That German car is not fit to have the Queen's own Union Flag draped upon it! What foreign muck have you besmirched this glorious UK based thread with RichardUK?

Owned by the German company Opel who is owned by the French company PSA.

There's no such thing as country specific companies in free market conditions.

Edit: to clarify, I mean there's nothing forcing them to remain owned by a single country.

Noble!

If you ignore that nearly every component is manufactured abroad and the steel was most likely mined in India.

If that's the best we can do then I'll take it!

What is your plan for selling the cars on RichardUK? AutoTrader?

Out of interest what is your partner doing to try and win this challenge against you?

Don't you need to be licensed to sell cars over there? I thibk here there are people that do it the same way as Richard where they just buy and flip cars, there is a term for them, curb something or other...but they are technically illegal, as you are supposed to be a licensed dealer.

It's also pretty crazy that to start you bought 5 cars, why not just you know... 1?

He has in the past put in an offer to buy an auction house but for a general one not a car auction, we also purchased a building around seven years ago in a Derbyshire village with the aim of opening an auction house, sadly we could not get change of use because apparently the car park wasn't large enough so we sold it on, it's a plumbing centre now

He can't drive so everything he does is based from home, he has been buying and selling general antiques, gold, jewellery, paintings etc, importing some new ranges of pet products (we already import bird/parrot products) and a new business he won't tell me about

I now have motor trade insurance and trade plates (road tax) and pay tax via our other businesses so thats all thats needed, the cars come from a registered auction house that do all legal checks on the cars

I'm watching Shop Well For Less on BBC1, and it's getting right on my tits.

They're trying to help this family cut down on their excessive spending on toiletries, fashion, electronics and what have you. To convince them to switch to cheaper alternatives, they're having this woman clean her windows and floors by hand with newspaper and mops, instead of the expensive steam cleaners they already strawberry floating OWN!! You're not saving them money if they already strawberry floating bought it!

And now they've taped up the daughters PS4 and given her a Chromecast because it's 'a cheaper way to stream shows'. WHICH THE PS4 strawberry floating DOES.

This programme is for strawberry floating morons!
