Sounds like a great time! Shame about the bad luck, but like you say, that's always a risk in Pokemon, even the best decks can just brick sometimes. I'm glad you didn't let it get you down. Hopefully you'll have better luck next year!

I never really got beyond casual play (3rd in League challenge once was my best), but it really is such a fun game and going to worlds sounds like an amazing experience. I should try and get back into it.

My brother's going sometime next year, I'll have to tell him.

If ever I go to America, I'll remember it.
Of course, if I was going to Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, I'd be able to do a near-ten hour journey to Nashville and make an event of that as well.

3rd in a Challenge is pretty good! Plenty to work with if you can manage that. :)

Honestly this year was just like a big party, even fi I dont qualify for Worlds itself I can't really imagine a scenario where I don't go anyway.

Well it was quite some time ago now. I haven't got a clue about the state of the meta, or even what cards are staples these days. Rotation's just happend, right? I'd need a really cheap deck to see if I can get back into it. My anxiety has been so bad lately, I'm not sure if I could manage going at all.

I hope you qualify for Worlds again next year, I'm sure you can do it.

I was shopping in Mansfield today and one of the unused shops in the indoor shopping centre was being used so that you could play table tennis for free, apparently is happening across the country, no idea who's funding it (I noticed the national lottery logo, so assume that) I had a couple of games and it was really fun and quite a nice and different thing to do whist out shopping

Yeah there is free table tennis in a vacant shop here in Reading too. Didn't realise it was happening in other places!

*types location into pingengland*

0 locations in your area.

Figures.

The empty unit on the retail park here is being turned into a charity shop, which will mean this town'll soon have 11 of them in total.

This week me and my partner are having a competition to see who can make the most money from something we don’t normally do and hapfully find something to get us financially on the up again

I was a little stuck for ideas but on Tuesday I went to my first ever car auction and purchased 5 cars, then realised I have no legal way of moving them, luckily the auction gives you 3 days to move them so I could either pay for a car transporter, buy trade insurance and road tax or sell them from their car park (something the auction staff laughed at) anyway I went with selling them and today one day after I have sold them all and more than doubled my money! It might be beginners luck or the fact I really tried hard so that by the end of the week I’m the winner but from that one experience I can see real money in car dealing so much so if I have similar success at the next auction (Friday) I might find a premises to trade from and get all the insurances etc I need and get someone to run it all

No idea yet what I can do tomorrow yet but I will think of something

Ella started secondary school on Tuesday and she is absolutely loving it. She's gone to a school that no one in her primary school was going to, but already she's made new friends, loves the teachers and just seems to be genuinely enjoying herself. I couldn't be happier for her.

I didn't think she'd enjoy wearing a uniform (her primary school didn't have one) but she's really taking pride wearing it. She still needs to learn how to tie a tie herself though!

If you can flip five cars in a few days and make a profit, I think you just - just - scrape into Glorious Leader Theresa's "Just About Managing"s category.

Hope your struggles are only temporary RichUK and you're soon financially on the up again.

You're not thinking big picture Moggy. Even if he breaks even, he's then got to fork out for a great big Union Flag to drape each car he flogs in.

I was thinking of the bigger picture. You completely missed that he has to buy a new £1000 washing machine every single time he washes a flag.
