Depending on your device, maybe. Some devices need to be updated to the newest developer version of android (http://developer.android.com/preview/setup-sdk.html#top) others can run it straight off the bat. My Samsung S4 can natively output USB audio, but my Nexus 7 (2013) can't. Currently flashing it (probably bricking it) to do exactly that.

Cheers, works great. However I'm considering sending the Aune back because the first time I turned it on and left it to warm up, I came back to a bit of smoke from below the tube and an acrid burning smell. It works fine, and sounds great, but I can't be sure what it was without opening it up. If I do that I've got less chance of being able to send it back...

Huh why? You don't like the colour?
I got them because they are high end headphones with superb sound, great design, very comfortable and massively reduced in price.

They're middling headphones with a fancy brand name. You've made a pretty poor purchase.

really? because I read some reviews and apparently these are way up there with the B&W P7, Senn momentum and all that. So at this marked down price they should be a no brainer.

Mainly just whatever is in the charts so Pop, RnB, Club tunes. Why?
I know these B&O have a weaker bass than say Beats but I don't mind a lower bass.

I had the chance to visit Bowers and Wilkins' headquarters last week and had a whistlestop tour of their whole range (including their £200,000 cinema room :datass: ). We get a supplier discount with them, so I invested in a pair of P3's:

So nice. And they sound so much better than my in-ear Sennheiser's already. Wanted some decent proper headphones but I look ridiculous in over-ear ones. Probably wouldn't pay full price for them (I don't really see the point of spending £100+ on iPhone headphones), but they're still lovely

I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase. H6's (apparently) have a very clear, flat response that will let you hear heavily produced music as intended. They're a better choice than beats.

I've let the Aune burn-in a bit and the combination with the SR325is is amazing for the kind of music I listen to. I can't really imagine a better sound. I'm considering picking up a couple of tubes to try out but generally I'm going to be happy with this setup for a long time.

They're universally praised, I considered a set myself but I couldn't justify a second set beyond by Sennheiser HD25
