Oh yeah...

It was like that time when Del boy falls over by the bar in that wine bar place.

Such laughs

Loved the first episode. Just the names of the characters alone.

Third episode was the best yet, it did some good fleshing out of the other characters.

Watched all 4 now. First and fourth are the strongest by far.

Finished the season, the show really found its footing in the last couple of episode. HBO better renew!

I watched episode 7 last night, having recorded it a few days ago on my Sky HD box. Probably my favourite episode yet - the Wedding Party one. Was not quite as funny as some of the earlier episodes, but unexpectedly melancholy and touching.

It's a great series, I've really enjoyed it, tbh. Stephen Merchant seems to have walked that fine line between cheese and brilliance quite well; funny, intelligent, satirical and understated. I hope they get to make a another season.

I went to his stand up show last year (this series is loosely based on it) and he told that story. Assuming he wasn't making it up, he actually said that in real life.

I think 1x07 was my favourite episode of the whole series actually, a perfect mix of hilarity and sadness. 1x08 is a bit too obvious.
