No but everyone has very specific routines that you get to know the more you play it.

You'll meet everyone eventually so don't sweat that early task you're given. Focus on getting plants in the ground!

Cool, I was worried that everyone might get pissed off if I just ignore them and work on my farm!

I've been given a fishing rod from some old guy down at the beach now so have been trying my hand at fishing - I've only been able to catch a few piddling little sardines so far but they seem to fetch a fair amount so I'm going to see what else I can hook!

A real farmer has no need for social interaction. Just the company of his crops and faithful dog.

Spent the first few days of Fall 1 working myself to the bone getting cranberries and pumpkins (and other stuff) in. I spent £15k+ on seeds on day 1. Should get a rebate from Pierre for that!

Once I've finished watering everything it's 2pm and I'm shattered lol.

Got a few preserve tubs on the go as well to keep the money coming during Winter.

It doesn't stop.

I seem to spend most of my time knackered in this as well, on the first day I hadn't noticed there was an energy bar in the game and so completely wrecked myself clearing out the weeds and rocks from the farm and then spent the rest of the day having to slowly walk anywhere!

I've seen that food can be bought to restore energy, and obviously sleeping helps, but is there any other way to better maintain energy levels? Right now I don't have enough cash to keep buying food just so I can water my crops!

Combine an acorn, maple seed and pine cone to make a Field Snack (you should have loads if you've been chopping down trees on the farm)

It's not useful in your first spring, but when Summer hits there's an earthquake that opens up a spa in the north east near the mines.

I find this useful because it gave me a daily routine of waking up, clearing debris/harvesting/watering plants until about lunchtime at which point I'd strawberry float off up the spa, restore my energy and then mine all evening until about 10pm when it's time to go home (you can stay out later but any time after 12am and you won't fully restore your energy when sleeping, and at 2am you collapse and potentially get your stuff robbed).

Food and stuff is definitely more convenient (strawberry float Jojo Cola though; it's a con for how little energy you get), but at the start when you're saving up for upgrades and buildings etc, and so are selling everything you can, this method is good coz it's free.

I've never bought a single thing from them. I do occasionally go in though and leave mud on the floor. Sticking it to the man!

First world anarchy.

I must admit, the Jojo membership seems like such a massively obvious 'Bad Thing' TM to do.

Here's a delicate little farming sim about getting back to nature and enjoying the little thingS in life;

WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESTROY THE COMMUNITY CENTRE AND PUT THE SHOP KEEPER OUT OF BUSINESS?

Y/N

I'm pretty sure taking down Jojo Mart is the actual plot to Bring it On 2.

Apparently you have to get 9 eggs in order to beat Abigail. I had 8

Oh and I had a little event play out with that homeless guy in the village - I chose not to screw him over for stealing from people's bins, then Gus from the Saloon decides he'll just give him free food anyway! I don't mind the guy being generous, but hey I'm sure he can afford to when he's charging me 400G for a beer!

Got to level 45 in the mines last night. Time flies in that place; exhaustion is more dangerous than the monsters!
