I think I was most worried about not eating, probably because the gameplay loop was reminding me of Don't Starve. I'm assuming I won't starve...

Also, on my second day ended up having to go to bed at 9.30am because I was chopping trees :slol:

I think I'm going to play through to winter as an experiment, and then start again and do it properly.

It's hard to get things totally wrong. And as there is no fail condition you can basically do whatever you like, which is one of the reasons I like it so much. It's not a cynical game.

I chose the forest farm I think, the one with all the trees. First time Ive properly played so I thought it would be all wooded and the trees would self maintain but its not really the case.

Haven't played this for a goodly while. Just hd a quick spin and I've got one of the two fish I need to complete the fishing bundles. One to go! Also, I've finally spotted where the mayor's pants are!

In to summer of Year 1 now, didn't realise all my spring crops would die out instantly! I'd just planted a bunch of stuff as well
I feel like I need to expand my farm but it's enough trouble managing what I have now - really need to get looking at a sprinkler system I think, I spend half of the day just watering my crops at the moment!

Have you upgraded your watering can yet? That makes things a bit easier.

It lets you water three tiles in front of you at once. I would get that done.

Do it the day before it rains.

Almost at the end of spring 2 and only one large goats milk away from unlocking the greenhouse.

Tfw you've got £100k sitting in the bank.

But still Haley refutes my advances (._.)
