I've been outed  Is it really that much!?

Yeah it's addictive. It does everything minecraft does but better, except for the actual building which it doesn't do at all.

If you enjoy the Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing etc style of game, you may be interested in becoming addicted to My Time At Portia, which just achieved it's Kickstarter funding goal, and is on Kickstarter Extended trying to hit up some of its loftier bonus goals.

Haven't seen a thread for it, but maybe it'll get some fans here. :simper:

Caved and bought this last night despite Mario O beingf out in less than a week. :fp:

Only scratched the surface but I can see that this could become very addictive!

I really want to pick this up but I’ve gotten horribly addicted to Harvest Moon games in the past and just don’t want to get into another 100-200 hour obsession with Mario, Xenoblade and the inevitable Skyrim replay in the near future.

My brother was hopelessly addicted to this for several months. I worry about buying games like this

I remember you producing those videos almost daily, Pedz! It seems that there could be a chance of "Stardew Valley - Pedz's New Leaf" appearing soon :o ...

Wait, this I can get this for my PS4? There goes all my free time then. Last game I played like this was Rune Factory 4....only a casual 100+ hours put into that...

It's £1 cheaper on Switch than PS4 and has the added portability factor too.

I bought this on a whim on Friday. Struggling with the controls a little and not really 'getting it' right now. I'll persist a while longer

Controls are a bit awkward at first but you'll suss them. I still haven't managed to catch a fish yet though! :fp:

£15 for the PS4 collector's edition on Amazon

That be mighty tempting :dread:

This looks like the perfect game for a night shift. Why I'd contemplate getting this a few days before Mario is beyond me.

It comes with a map and I'm immediately drawn to games that come with a printed map.

That map is useless though. Really not needed.

I sank well over 250 hours into the GBA Harvest Moon and hardly any of that time was spent on the RPG/Dating sim bits - just a huge field full of sweet potatoes and cabbages making me loads of pretend money

I daren't try Stardew Valley.

I never managed to get on with Harvest Moon (and it's not for want of trying, I think I bought Wonderful Life about 3 or 4 times in an effort to get it to click). But Stardew just sucked me in, it's exactly what I'd hoped for in a HM game. It's also the one thing tempting me on a switch.

Works well on switch as a toilet game.

I worked out how to get them to bite. Then I can't work out what to do next. Just panic instead!!
