Apparently they've started up elusive targets again after going on a 4 month hiatus. Thanks for that IO.

New level up in Hitman 3, anyone played it?

Yeah, it's a good one. Can't say too much about how it plays normally, as I was doing and recording a katana kill challenge for my first time on it, but it does seem that there's numerous options to take them out, which is a good thing.

So a few more thoughts now I've played it 'normally', the lack of stories puts the focus onto discovering things for yourself. There's several things that I've found and managed to utilise in order to get the results needed. Both targets could be considered easy to take out, depending on how you approach things, but that's the same for plenty others. It certainly has the Hitman style of level down right.

They’re consolidating the whole (modern) series into Hitman 3, retitled “World of Assassination”.

Hitman 3 will become 'Hitman World of Assassination', which will also include access to Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 through our existing Access Pass system. Current Hitman 3 owners will get a free upgrade to Hitman World of Assassination on all platforms.

We're drastically simplifying the purchase experience for new players. Hitman World of Assassination will be the single available option to start playing.
There will be two products available to purchase with this new World of Assasnation experience. The first is the standard version of the game, which will cost roughly $70 ("or local equivalent"). This edition will come with Hitman 3, along with Hitman 1's GOTY Access Pass and Hitman 2's Standard Access Pass.

The second that will be made available is the World of Assassination Deluxe Pack. This is a DLC pack which will cost in the region of $30 ("or local equivalent"). This includes the Hitman 3 Deluxe Pack, Hitman 3's Seven Deadly Sins Collection (I particularly enjoyed Lust) and the Hitman 2 Expansion Access Pass.

The developer stated that as some players will already own some but not all DLC currently available, there will be flexible purchase options available. Over on Steam, IOI is bringing in a "complete the set functionality" for the DLC packs included in the Deluxe pack. "If you own two of the DLCs, you'll only pay $10 for the remaining DLC, rather than having to pay full price for the full Deluxe Pack," IOI explained. Meanwhile, for those not playing on PC, the three DLCs from the Deluxe Pack will be available to purchase from the in-game store individually for $10.

So if you haven’t already bought Hitman 3, but intend to, get on it quick. £18 on Xbox at CDKeys.

I bought the deluxe hitman 3 along with the hitman 2 DLC (which was down form £30 to £5!) The other day. So I now have all games and DLC save for the deadly sins stuff. Can't wait to finally play hitman 3, having played the rest of it. The 2 DLC maps for hitman 2 look like they're going to be great fun too.

I can understand why they'd be doing so, what with the Freelancer mode coming soon and likely using all the maps. May as well have everyone with access to them rather than the fractured way it's been at present.

I'm a little confused as I'd thought that Hitman 3 was already the "central hub" for all three titles; I have the game and, as an owner of the original two, downloaded the packs to play them through Hitman 3.

Maybe this is purely a freshening-up of the purchase process to make it a bit easier to undertake. It's an excellent package though; I really must get back into it.

Yeah, essentially this is rebranding 3 as the hub it had already become. I think the implication is that 1 and 2 will no longer be on sale separately.
