What the hell is going on with the framerate in this? Seems close to 60 in the intro bit then half that in the first level.

It's unlocked so it's all over the place. I hope it's much better in the final game.

This couldn't have given a worse first impression if it tried. Mediocre graphics, frame rate issues, loose controls, just awful.

Probably because of all those people on the boat. We'd have got a stable framerate if they were just empty shells like in the Mardi Gras level in Blood Money.

Gameplay wise, i thought the beta was great. And the graphics really weren't that bad. Frame rate was a bit loose though.

Graphics and controls are fine. It feels a hell of a lot closer to Blood Money than Absolution did. They just really need to sort those performance problems if it hasn't been done already.

I'm just going to wait to make sure the PC version isn't a complete disaster and get that.

Good to see other people enjoyed it, too. Other than the vision ability, this is very close to being a classic Hitman game. Well, that first level was anyway. Yet to try the second one. Also, in some small ways, it even manages to better Blood Money; 47 doesn't have a infinite supply of distract-O-coins.

I take it that vision ability can be turned off? I never checked.

You'll be able to turn off everything and have a blank HUD.

I was playing this in offline mode this morning. (Wouldn't connect to server. I'm guessing the PS+ beta officially ended.) Completed the second mission but the challenges remained hidden. Will challenges in the full game only be available if we're online?

Suggests we're stuck with the crappy new aiming system. :cry:

This may well put me off buying the full game. :fp:
