Watch the latest films instantly with our new online rental service. With hundreds of brand new releases to choose from you'll never be short of something to watch. Fresh in this week is Kevin Smith's indie horror flick, 'Red State', which you can watch now for just £3.99. If that's not your thing, there's also '30 Minutes Or Less' starring Jessie Eisenberg, and Lars von Trier's brilliant 'Melancholia'.

With movies such as Shifty and Hindenburg starting from as little as 0.49p, there's something for everyone.

What about a subscription; is there a contract or subscription?

No, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to watch a film. So, you only pay for the films you want to watch. And you can watch them at a time that suits you.

If you have chosen to watch your film online, you will need a broadband connection of 4 Mbit/s broadband or greater.

Looks like they're all getting in on the act.

£3.99 is too much.

Same as Sky Box Office, & cheaper than most stuff on Xbox Live/PSN. Plus I'm sure there's nothing available for 49p, either.

With Netflix now available in the UK it makes a service like this less appealing.

£4 a movie? Well, at least they're trying.

They could do with getting the service onto various other platforms, such as console & TV.

Too expensive for a single watch :fp:

Hmm... I wouldn't pay for Sky Box Office or for any of the outrageously priced stuff on PSN, either.

Maybe it's just me. I'd be more likely to be suckered in if they said it'd cost you £3.99 to download it and keep the file for six months. I'd probably still only watch the thing once, so I don't see what difference it'd make to them.

As tomvek said, Netflix has given these guys a lot to think about. The content might not be the newest, but it'll take me a long time to get bored of all that stuff - and I've 'only' got the UK content.

£4 for a single film I can watch for 2 days or £6 for all I can watch on Netflix for a month.

Hmmmm....it's a tough one!

£3.99 is a rip-off for a 'watch once' download. I've never been a fan of digital distribution but at least Netflix have the right idea with charging less than £6 and letting you watch whatever you want. Then there is Lovefilm who will post 'unlimited' DVDs/Blu-rays/games to you for about £8 and that prices includes online streaming too.

That's even more of a rip-off. You pay £40 or whatever for a SKY subscription and then have to pay an extra £4 to watch a film. :fp:

Blockbuster only charge £3 for a DVD or Blu-ray. If streaming wants to beat discs it needs to be much cheaper.

No. Then again, neither does this.
