The PS4 and XBO versions look surprisingly decent; the Digital Foundry tech assessment was positive in that whilst they don't perform as well as the game on current gen, it seems that they're pushing the hardware well. It's gonna be interesting to see how the Switch version goes - is the game a bit too much for the system to handle?

Hoping it’s a solid port as I would pick this up on Switch. Could also be one that gets a Switch 2 patch depending when that launches/if this game is supported long enough.

Absolutely loving this game so far, the world they've created is one of the best i've seen in a game for quite some time.

It runs perfectly on the PS4 too, haven't seen any glitches, errors, or graphical issues during the 15 hours i've so far been playing.

Yeah it was. Just rubbing in that I still think there's zero chance of that happening ;)

I just missed the 20% off in the xbox store (so about £52), Ive never bought a game through CDkeys before, but is this just like buying through the xbox store(digital download)? - so the game is £40?

EDIT: I bought it anyway, and it seems to work OK. Just sorted. I did google CDkeys and there where various explanations on reddit about either these codes either being resold from bulk buys, or codes that were bought using stolen credit information.

Im about halfway through this now i think. 26hrs and upto level 26. It is a collectathon but theres lots of varied things to collect so mixing it up does to some extent keep it fresh. However i probably have already dried up the collectables in Hogwarts castle so that feels a bit sparse for me now. The broomstick flying is pretty good - a good sense of freedom similar to spiderman web slinging. The combat is really good too with a wide variety of spells / combos and RPG style armour. Dungeons and story quests also seem to be good and varied too. So far a definate 9/10 game for me. The game and tone is very remenicent of Fable, albeit alot more wholesome.

Started it.

One of the best openings I’ve played for a while.

Didn’t see this before, but I buy most Xbox things from CDKeys and have never had a problem. If they were as dodgy as some people make out, they’d have been shut down by now. Good for Xbox credit too. Wait for a game to go in an official sale, and buy the required credit at CDKeys for a double discount. And then you still get the MS reward points for the purchase.

Finished the main story a while back and don’t really feel the urge to go back to it at all. But damn it was a fun 40 odd hours or so

Only 40?

I racked up over 80 on it, loved that game.

Finished now. I drew it out abit from 65hrs story/sides complete to 75hrs to 100% the collectables. But the flying and combat is very intuative/fun that whilst it was a bit of a chore it wasnt too bad. Good story. Some very good side quests. Good characterisations. Good voice acting. Good interesting environment and art style. 9/10.

Not sure what the replay value is once youve mopped up everything - There are 4 separate achievements for each different house that happesns about 1/4 of the way through a playthrough. I might go back to it. The xp is linked to everything - even the collectables, so if you want to get OP quick, you cant really do that.

I bought it as it was £36.

I've only played up to where I've arrived in the main hall for the sorting hat. Jeez, it was impressive introduction to start with!

I'm currently Level 31 and it's going along nicely at the moment. A lot of things to explore on the map.
