I've got a fair bit more done since my last post. At 105% completion now. Found all the Grubs, beat Nightmare King Grimm, turned the breakable charms into unbreakable charms, beat the Trial of Fools, beat all the dream bosses and got 2,400 dream essence, beat 5 stages of Grey Prince Zote, found Godhome...

Still missing 1 charm, 1 mask shard and not sure how to get the ending I haven't got yet. Need to finish off Grey Prince Zote and make a proper stab at all the stuff in Godhome. Oh, I'm missing a couple of bosses from the list in there too, come to think of it...

I also know there's something called the Path of Pain and some quest to do with a flower which are apparently the toughest things in the game, but not sure how to access them. Think the former is something to do with the White Palace, but I've explored there several times and can't find it. Maybe to do with that hidden room with the mould case (?) in

Iirc, the Path of Pain is accessible quite early on in the white palace. I think you just go up the middle and it's immediately through the left wall as you enter the room. Issue is, it doesn't look like a breakable wall; just an ordinary wall. There are a couple of secrets in the game like this unfortunately.

Oh, I found that flower quest. It's a hidden area in Resting Grounds.

I never finished it though. It seemed like it would annoy me, so I never bothered with it.

It's not too bad tbh, it's just the end that's a bit sweaty because of the tight gaps to dash through.

same for me but the art style won me over.

i feel i should go back one day as i didnt realise the switch version came with certain dlc though id probably have to start from the beginning to get back into the swing of things

One thing I hope they do for Silksong, is either have save points outside boss rooms or at least checkpoints like in Metroid Dread, having to trek all the way back for some of the harder bosses (watcher knights the notable one) want fun when you’re getting battered a lot.

What an excellent game this was. It had very few flaws.

I've played a swathe of Metroidvanias recently as they're great 'On Deck' but this was the most disappointing one for me. The traversal and combat felt satisfying but there wasn't enough variation in the environments and artwork to really make it memorable.
