6x07- How young is Quinn supposed to have been when he slept with Dar? The implication I got was that he was young and I'm not sure making Dar Adal into a sexual predator adds anything. Dar Adal is already responsible for every nefarious event this season, they're going overboard in making him evil.

Holy gooseberry fool, have they really gone there? Were there clues laid down for this or did it come outta nowhere?

Is this season worth watching?

I mean the season is seven episodes in and there's been about 2 episodes worth of plot so it's hard to recommend. Episode 5 was probably the best so far so start with that and carry on if you liked it.

Season spoilers

The implication is that Dar Adal has organised a false flag attack on New York in order to convince the new anti-war anti-CIA president elect to keep the war going and increase CIA funding. Dar Adal might not know about this as he hasn't confessed this on screen but it was a false flag attack and there are only like two CIA characters who aren't Saul.

6x07 spoilers:

Additionally he is working with Mossad to destroy the nuclear inspection deal with Iran by faking evidence that Iran is building a nuclear bomb with North Korea.

Also he apparently slept with Quinn years ago and Quinn is resentful about it.

And he had Carrie's daughter put into care while figuratively twirling his moustache.

F Murray Abraham is a great actor so it's always nice to give him more material but it's becoming like a pantomime.

Homeland 6x08-

I wonder what Dar Adal has done this week?

Let's find out.
-Work with Homeland's equivalent of Alex Jones to smear the president elect's dead soldier son as a coward.
- Conspire with a CIA asset to lie to the president elect that Iran has broken the nuclear deal. (Treason)
-Have his assassin shoot Astrid and Quinn. :(

Busy week.
