I get my internet service via Sky.
Last week a pertinent web service went offline. If anybody has got a good alternative please let me know by private message - thanks!

That was an incredibly tense and ultimatelyextremely frustrating last few minutes. If the implication of his involvement is as straightforward as "he was evil all along" then strawberry float right off.

Quite a nice surprise at the end there. A good, slower paced episode after the high thrills of the past few. Not enough Quinn on the rampage though.

Pretty good episode and maybe the mystery of the mole is possibly solved. Bit stupid he'd pop out in the car with him though.

Not really. The team that was keeping an eye on Alkani has been disband. He safely assumed they were no longer a threat.

I was more thinking of the hundreds of people with cell phones with cameras surrounding the car. Good chance of footage of the bloke who'd just killed a load of Americans along with Dar Adal ending up on youtube.

PostRe: Homeland: Season 4 - US pace, finale in the US

That finale was....not what I expected. Very poor ending to a brilliant season. Carrie's family bullshit...no, just no. Why can't they see that no one wants this gooseberry fool?

The whole episode was set up for season 5 and actually felt like the first episode of a new season rather than a final one.

Well, I really enjoyed that. Thought it wasn't exactly bombastic but there was more character development in that episode than about half of the season combined to be honest. Some big decisions made and I really can't wait for the next season. Massive improvement on seasons 2 and 3 in my opinion, helped by locating 99% of the season overseas.

Pretty disappointing finale to a excellent season. At least it moved a lot of the characters stories on. I wonder if they'll go back to Pakistan next season.

A very low key finale but I enjoyed it much more than either of the two prior episodes. It was simple character work mostly and very well done. Carrie's family is always a roll of the dice but here it worked. Great season overall.

Season 5 details -

The series picks up two years after Carrie Mathison’s (Claire Danes) ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the “war on terror,” Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist.

I hope they're not abandoning all the hanging plotlines from the end of last season :dread: I want that bad Iranian woman to suffer a horrible death.

Back tonight, hopeful after last seasons mostly return to form -

Getting some good reviews -

Smart, taut, engaging and propulsive. The fifth looks terrific.

This sometimes-erratic thrill ride is back in top form in its fifth season

If last season was the redux, then Season 5 is peak Homeland.
