Good but low-key start - No idea where the main story is going, maybe in Lebanon but I doubt it. Possibly something behind the scenes at the During Foundation connects to Quinn doing his assassinations in Germany. It's very much ripped from the headlines again with ISIS, Refugees, Syria etc.

That was a decent start, and it looks to be keeping up the quality from last season. Kinda disappointed it hasn't continued on the loose threads from last season, but on the other hand I'm glad the whole Carrie and Quinn thing seems to be dead and forgotten about. Hopefully the writers realized how strawberry floating awful it was. :dread:

Some great Saul and Quinn moments in that episode :datass:

Decent episode this week. Quinn had the best scene again.

Carrie off her meds again is so strawberry floating boring. :fp: Is there some unwritten rule where the writers have to do this once per season or what? Good God she is such a horrible person.

Ep3 - Meh episode. Heard before the season started that Crazy Carrie will be coming to town in Episode 3 but it wasn't as bad as I feared. It ended up been pretty useless other than working out the trace but I'm sure normal Carrie would have figured that out anyway. I assume Quinn is going against orders in not killing her. Hopefully the Saul sleeping with his underling will pay off as it's pretty poor.

Now THAT was a good episode. Things should be getting really interesting from here on out.

Nice episode - The Allison reveal was a bit obvious but the plane blowing up was a surprise. Not sure what her plan is.

I'm watching it but there is nothing to discuss really.

Yep. It's been a pretty good season, plodding along at a nice pace but nothing particularly remarkable.

I will say though, this week's episode upped the ante nicely.

Another top episode this week, everything is starting to come together nicely. If anything happens to Quinn.. .

What is it with Showtime and horribly patronizing bleeps and bloops whenever anyone is using a computer? Dexter was even worse back in the day, mind. Do they think we won't understand what's going on if there isn't a sound to go along with every mouse click or keyboard press? gooseberry fool drives me nuts. It's the kind of thing you'd expect on NCIS or CSI Cyber, not a premium cable series.

I'm ranting.

Good episode this week, although a very predictable ending. I feel like Quinn is going to become this Big Boss type character and build his own army.

Yeah, enjoyed this week's. That whole sequence with Saul being denied access and then getting the files himself was brilliantly tense. Quinn is just ridiculously hard. How many injuries does he have now?

Ugh, after last season being brilliant, this season has really shat the bed. It's awful. It's hard to know where to start with it really, almost every scene is cringeworthy. Maybe it's made worse by the fact I've lived in Berlin for the last 5 years and how everything seems extra fake, but some of the writing is well off.

What the hell is with Quinn being in a Syrian squat...in Berlin? Where is that supposed to exist? Why does he have a showdown (which looks like a dance off when he exits the building and they are all waiting for him)...and why are we supposed to care about this random radical randomly released out of prison? What was the point in giving him an introduction? How did they know immediately that he was a spy?

Why does everything have to link together this season? We spent a couple of episodes getting to know Carrie's new employer...and for what? So he could be an overly long red herring, a plot forwarding device in episode 6? Why even bother with this horribly fake relationship with the German guy? Guy who downloaded these docs killed by the Russians, the same Russians ole Otto is meeting..everything feels just hugely contrived.

I'm just having a hard time believing any of this universe. Starting to realise why people who have spent any time in the middle east hated last season. And yet I still watch, because scenes like Saul copying those files are still done well...it's descended into passably enjoyable trash this season. Oh, and can someone tell Sean Callery stop mining 90s spy movie sound files for the soundtrack?

Ok episode this week. Too much stupid gooseberry fool happening, though. Why is everyone this season so strawberry floating dumb? How come all these people who have worked together for years (and even decades in some cases) don't trust each other yet not a single one of them suspects Alison? It's beyond the usual dumb logic of this show that we're meant to buy this. Also, how foreshadowed was the future of the taxi driver? He should have also mentioned that it was his last day before retirement.

Well this week's episode was a whole load of boring nothing. At least, finally somebody, anybody has found out Alison is not one of the good guys. What the strawberry float are they doing with Quinn's storyline?

This season has been such a disappointment :fp:

That was the first really good episode in quite a while last night! This show can be great when it sticks to actual spying and espionage.
